The brand won an appeal over the term, meaning it can now register "Fur-Free Fur" as a trademark for its imitation-fur items. This appeal reverses an earlier decision by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which had said that the application for "Fur-Free Fur" was not descriptive enough to warrant a trademark.

Ambode completed 54 roads, abandoned 74 in 2018 – Report

Tracka, a subsidiary of BudgIT, which tracks the implementation of government projects in their community, on Friday released its report on 2018 road construction by the Ambode-led government in Lagos State.
A statement by Damen Ilevbaoje, Head, Tracka, said while the breakdown of the total cost (N18,545,657,940.00), remains unknown to the public, the Lagos State Government last year flagged off the construction of 181 roads spread across the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
Lagos State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ade Akinsanya said in a press statement February 2018 that “the roads will be done in phases.
“The first phase consists of 57 roads cutting across the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas.”

She had all her schooling in Ibadan, from the primary at "Bodija International School, Ibadan" to the secondary at "Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Ibadan" to the tertiary at "The Polytechnic, Ibadan" where she got her degree in Secretarial Studies and Management. Her work career also began in Ibadan too.

Fatou Bensouda's entry visa to the United States revoked

United States authorities revoked International Criminal Court chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda's entry visa to the United States.

"It is our understanding that should not have an impact on the Prosecutor's travel to the US to meet her obligations to the UN, including regular briefings before the UN Security Council. The Office of the Prosecutor has an independent and impartial mandate under the Rome Statute of the ICC. The Prosecutor and her Office will continue to undertake that statutory duty with utmost commitment and professionalism, without fear or favor," her office said in a statement.

Lawmaker’s daughter sacked for working with fake certificates

The daughter of Ehionzuwa Johnson Agbonayinma, a federal lawmaker and Pension Ad Hoc Committee Chairman, Deborah Ighiwiyisi Agbonayinma, has been fired for working with fake certificates.

Hon Agbonayinma is representing Egor/Ikpoba-Okha of Edo State in the House of Representatives.
According to TheNation, Deborah was sacked about 4 weeks ago after working at the commission for three years.
A source told TheNation that Deborah worked in other government agency with the fake certificates before joining PenCom.
The Commission confirmed that she was sacked on February 27.
Miss Agbonayinma’s curriculum vitae with which she was employed in PenCom, stated that she obtained a B.Sc degree in Accountancy with certificate number 12129 on August 8, 2012 from Irish University Business School located on 219 Bow Road, London E3 2SJ.

Police arrest 2 over killing of UNILAG medical graduate, Stephen Urueye

The Lagos police command have arrested 2 persons in connection with the killing of a medical graduate of the University of Lagos, Stephen Urueye, at the Idi Araba area of the metropolis, yesterday April 4th. Urueye had his convocation on Wednesday April 3rd.


According to the Lagos police command, the two suspects, Gbadebo Jimoh and Malik Adeboye, were arrested by men of the Itire Police division.
