 Oleksandr Usyk, the unified heavyweight champion, stole the stage when he confronted Anthony Joshua before their bout on Saturday in Jeddah, even breaking into song.


In a resounding UD loss against the Ukrainian in September at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Joshua lost his title.

In a recent interview, Michelle Yeoh was frank about her groundbreaking career and the reasons she wasn't chosen for Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.

Speaking with the folks at Town & Country, the Everything Everywhere All at Once actress recalled how Tarantino convinced her to come out of retirement following a debilitating injury during the filming of a stunt for the movie The Stunt Woman.

She then went on to say that the accident left her in a brace, and if it wasn’t for him, she might not be acting today.

And asked why she wasn’t in Kill Bill, Yeoh replied, “I asked Quentin the same question. He’s very smart. He said, ‘Who would believe that Uma Thurman could kick your ass?’”

#jaiyeorie Moses Joseph was given a 37-year prison sentence by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Lagos State Special Offenses Court in Ikeja for making a 13-year-old girl lick his manhood and sticking his finger in her privates.


Joseph was accused of indecent treatment on two counts by the Lagos State Government.
According to the prosecution, the defendant allegedly committed the crime on September 17, 2021, at or around 11 p.m. at his home on Kadiri Street 25, Alausa, Ikeja.


Henry Obidinna, the accused's attorney, begged the court to balance justice with mercy during the arraignment.
Obidinna testified in court that the defendant supported his family financially and that his younger brother passed away from shock after learning of Joseph's imprisonment.
The incident, he said, had been kept quiet.    

 

 

 Asked if he had anything to tell the court, the convict pleaded for mercy.

Delivering judgment, the court held that the state proved its case against the defendant beyond any reasonable doubt. The judge held that from available evidence, the defendant was guilty of the crime.

    “On the first count, I sentence you to seven years imprisonment. On the second count, I sentence you to 30 years imprisonment, which will run concurrently.” the judge ruled

In order to legally alter his transgender daughter's name to Zaya, Dwyane Wade has submitted court documents.


On August 18, the former NBA player submitted court documents asking for the 15-year-permission old's to legally alter her name from Zion Malachi Airamis Wade to Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade.


In addition to the name change, The Blast adds that Dwyane Wade is asking the court to formally issue a decree recognizing the minor's gender change to "female."
 

 
It specifically cites the reason for the change as “to conform with gender identity.” The petition filed in Los Angeles Superior Court states that he has full authority to enact decisions on his daughter’s behalf. He has notified his former wife and daughter’s mother, Siohvaughn Funches.

Peter Okoye, a well-known singer, faces criticism for boasting about his opulent home in the United States of America.


The musician posted a video of his home's inside on the microblogging service Twitter.

“Back home in Atlanta making breakfast 🍳 🏠😁🤗 it’s all about y’all for the next few weeks!” he wrote.

However, many denounced the behavior, calling it a classic "show off," and claimed that politicians would have committed the same crime.

“People like you insulting government officials for buying properties overseas, overseas medical tourism etc and are online talking rubbish are nothing different from the politicians. why don’t you buy properties in ala igbo where ESN will consume you,” a user wrote.

 Peter Okoye slammed those shaming him while making clarifications on the intended use of the property.

“They use your hard earned tax payers money to buy houses abroad, train there children in the best school abroad. And even go for medical treatment abroad! You come here dey troll me we dey my house for abroad dey do world tour. You need serious deliverance🤣! Ode!🤣😂 #ShowOff,” he wrote in response.

The former Lockdown resident uploaded videos and pictures of the process of moving her luggage from her car to a bike.

Adekunle Gold recently received his first ink.


In a fan letter, the musician announced the placement of his new tattoo on his lower right arm, which depicts a bamboo growing from a lotus blossom.
He talked about the meaning of his new tattoo and the reasons for his choice to acquire one.  

“Back to my tattoo: I pondered about it for a while, for a few years actually. I have tweeted it so many times that I was going to get one but I was afraid as heck lol and I would always ask myself this “Adekunle why do you want to draw on your body?” It wasn’t until this Miami trip that I connected the dots,” he wrote in a part of the letter.

Adekunle Gold went on to explain the meaning behind it, stating, “It symbolises strength and resilience and the ability to rise above all and any adversity. That’s the story I have chosen to tell the world about Adekunle. A boy who refused to back down when no one believed in him, a boy who was so sure of his potential that no adversary could hold him down. David Adeleke's lawyer Bobo F. Ajudua posted a conversation they had on WhatsApp. David Adeleke is a well-known singer.


Davido had talked to him first during the media discussion while lamenting how wounded he was.


He then tried to phone Ajudua, but he missed them.


Davido laughed and said saying he was severely intoxicated as a result of the enormous amount he had consumed the day before when Ajudua responded to him online asking why he was injured.


Ajudua also chuckled in reaction to Davido.

Davido Adeleke, one of Nigeria's top three Afrobeat singers, is almost finished building a lavish beach villa in Lagos.


Recall that the musician had a keen interest in real estate at some point this year, leading to the acquisition of vast acreage on Banana Island that cost billions of naira.

But according to reports, Davido's most recent housing endeavor is a beach villa in Lagos State's Ilashe neighborhood.


The singer's seaside mansion is expected to be finished shortly, according to the real estate company Gidicrib, which disclosed the information.

After moving into the Banana Island mansion in 2022, if the house is finished this year, it will be Davido's second home.

 In Dar es Salaam, Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu had a steamy performance that had the crowd roaring with excitement and clamoring for more.


Barnaba Classic, a bongo singer, was accompanied by Zuchu and Diamond as he launched his new album, "Love Sounds Different," on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Mlimani City mall.
