Nigerian businessman and owner of Cubana Group, Obi Cubana, has amassed over 1.2 million followers in less than a week on Instagram following the burial ceremony of his mother in Oba, Anambra State, last weekend.

Obi Cubana went viral on social media following the videos of spraying money and lavish party which took place during his mother’s burial ceremony.

Recall that he received over 400 cows from his friends and associates, as well as a pendant which carried the image of his late mother.

Debo Macaroni visits family of slain Jumoke Oyeleke

#jaiyeorie , Debo Macaroni earlier today, Saturday, July 17 visited the family of late Jumoke Oyeleke who was a victim of stray bullet during the Yoruba Nation Rally on July 3.

Late Jumoke, a yoghurt seller was killed by bullets reportedly fired by a security operative dispersing Yoruba Nation agitators at Ojota, Lagos State.

It was gathered that bullets had severed the stomach of the girl, said to be 14 years old.

Mr. Macaroni who updated his fans on the situation of the family also sought for kind donations for the grieving family of the deceased.

He wrote, ” I visited the family house
of Late Jumoke Oyeleke, the young lady who was killed by a stray Bullet at the Yoruba Nation Rally.
The family are grievously mourning the death of Jumoke who was the bread winner of the house.
She worked as a sales attendant in a beverage store and used the little she earned to take care of her mother and 3 siblings. “

“I visited their family house with Dabira and donated N500,000 to support the family hoping that fellow Nigerians would also kindly support them as they go through this unbearable loss. Before my visit, Dabira visited the place in which Jumoke and her family stayed and it is indeed not a pleasant place to live in. I plead that we do not let the family go back to living in that condition. Also, The Government or Police are yet to take any responsibility and the family have been left to saddle all the financial burdens from mortuary bills, to autopsy, to bills for case treatment and the well-being of the entire family who have been abandoned.
Please no amount is too small. Kindly donate and support the family with whatever amount you can,” he pleaded.

MKO’s Assets: Kudirat’s Children Drag Family Members To Buhari, EFCC, DSS, Others

The children of the late Alhaja Kudirat Abiola have urged the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), to intervene in the protracted feud between them and some unnamed members of the family on allegations of withholding the assets left to them by their late father, Chief Moshood Abiola.

Their petition was contained in an open letter titled ‘Report of a Decades-long Fraud,’ addressed to the President by ‘Children of Kudirat Abiola,’ published in Daily Trust on Saturday.

The letter was copied to the Minister of Justice, the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the State Security Services, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.

Others who were copied included the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, the Head of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, and the governors of Kwara, Lagos, Ogun and Taraba states.

The petition read in part, “Our father was a man of equity and, as such, he established companies that reflected this side of him. In all his companies, he made sure that no child was given one single share and that no child was even officially made a director.

“Even in Habib Bank (now Keystone Bank), he gave equal shares to children of different mothers (Kola and Lekan were given equal shares and this can be verified). On the other hand, he put some of his wives as directors.”

Kudirat’s children further explained that their late mother was appointed as a director in Abiola Farms and another one of Abiola’s wives, the late Alhaja Simbiat, was made a director in Radio Communication Nigeria, though, according to them, each wife was not given more than one share.

A cocaine disguised as charcoal with a potential street value of up to 35 million euros ($41.4 million) has been seized in a joint operation between Irish and Dutch authorities.

The Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has announced an educational scholarship for the winner of the Nigerian Idol Season 6 singing contest, Kingdom Kroseide.

Diri, received Kingdom and his team at the Government House, Yenagoa, also appointed him as Youth Ambassador in the state.

He said the government would henceforth bear the responsibility of the 24-year-old talented singer’s education at the Federal University, Otuoke, where he is a student and up to a Master’s Degree level if he so desires.

Dillon Jordan Charged With Operating An International Prostitution Ring

American film producer Dillon Jordan was arrested on Thursday on charges that he used his production company, PaperChase Films, as a front for an international prost!tution ring.

Jordan, 49, was arrested in San Bernardino County, California. At an initial court appearance in Riverside, California, Jordan appeared by video and was ordered released on $150,000 bail.

According to Hollywood Reporter, an indictment said Jordan, from 2010 through May 2017, kept a roster of women who lived across the U.S. and performed s.e.x.u.a.l acts for Jordan’s clients in exchange for money. It said he coordinated with a United Kingdom-based madam, sharing and referring customers and prost!tutes.

“For years, Dillon Jordan operated an extensive and far-reaching prostitut!on business through two front companies — a purported party and event planning company and an actual movie production company,” U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a release.

The National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has approved the use of Moderna and Sputnik COVID-19 vaccine in Nigeria,

The American and Russian made vaccines were approved for emergency use, according to the Director-General of NAFDAC, Professor Moji Adeyeye.

She made the announcement on Thursday at a news conference in Abuja.

The approval is coming after the World Health Organization, expressed concerns over the Russian-made vaccine.

The 50-year-old founder of Spanx said she has spent almost 20 years of her life walking with all the wrong guys. She added that she had always dreamed of getting married, but she also knew that she did not want to depend on a man and that she wanted to get on her feet before getting married. So she stopped dating all the bad guys and decided to wait for a man who was not afraid of her success, but celebrated her. She added that when she met her husband and married at 37, he loved every part of her, especially her independence. She was already a successful businesswoman at the time. She then advised women to know the difference between men who want them and a man who really deserves them.

Listen.. no one knows what dating all the wrong guys is like better than me. I spent all of my 20s and most of my 30s dating men who wanted me, but didn’t necessarily deserve me. Literally, for almost 2 decades the only prerequisite to date me, was to like me, that’s it! Can you imagine the bar being that low?! Nevermind what I wanted or liked ... But something deep inside me knew I deserved more. I also knew I had to be independent. I had no desire to become reliant on a man. I had to stand on my own two feet before I could get married. And don’t get me wrong, I really wanted to be married. I longed for it! But it was important for the man I dated to be interested in all the parts of me, especially the part of me that wanted to be independent. When I eventually got married at 37, I had already built a foundation for myself, @spanx was already a household name. @jesseitzler wasn’t intimidated by my success, he celebrated it...he liked all the parts of me, especially the independence. 4 kids later...  So, sure, there will be men out there who would love to put you in a box or on a shelf. But in the end, it’s the one who celebrates you- all of you! that deserves you. Know the difference.

First Lady Martine Moïse was shot at least 3 times during an attack at their home that left her husband, the President, dead.

Taking to Twitter, the First Lady shared photos from the hospital as she mourned the shocking and tragic loss of her husband of 25 years.

Her message, translated to English, reads: "Thank you to everyone who’s helping me pray to return to life. Because when you’re hospitalized your life is God’s hands and doctors. Me, Martine Moïse, I still don’t believe that my husband left like this before my eyes without saying a last word to me. This pain will never pass."

Johnson & Johnson Recalls Aveeno, Neutrogena Sunscreens Over Cancer-Causing Chemical

Johnson & Johnson is recalling 5 of its Neutrogena and Aveeno spray sunscreens after the company found low levels of benzene, a cancer-causing chemical, in some samples.

The company said customers should stop using the affected products, which were distributed through stores nationwide.

The recall covers the Aveeno Protect + Refresh aerosol sunscreen, and four Neutrogena sunscreens: Beach Defense aerosol sunscreen, CoolDry Sport aerosol sunscreen, Invisible Daily Defense aerosol sunscreen and UltraSheer aerosol sunscreen.

Benzene, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says can cause leukemia or other cancers after long-term exposure to high levels, is not an ingredient in the affected sunscreens, J&J noted.
