Rita Ora finally confirmed longstanding rumors that she and director Taika Waititi are married.
“Yes … I am officially off the market,” the “How We Do (Party)” singer announced during an interview on the UK’s “Heart Breakfast” Friday.
“Putting out a new single and it really being inspired by where I’m at in my life, I knew the questions were gonna come,” she said ahead of the release of her wedding-themed “You Only Love Me” music video.
Ora explained that she wanted to “play on” the “is she, is she not?” chatter with the video.
“I wanted to do a wedding that didn’t really go to plan … but that’s not to say that’s what actually happened,” she quipped, noting that her and the “Jojo Rabbit” star’s nuptials were actually “perfect.”
“It was just exactly, exactly how I wanted it,” she gushed about the “private” ceremony. “It was just nice and perfect, completely how I wanted it. … Sorry, it’s not that interesting. One day we’ll throw a big party.”
The Sun first reported in August 2022 that Ora, 32, and Waititi, 47, had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London.
Despite the British newspaper claiming the pop star had changed her last name to Waititi, she confirmed on “Heart Breakfast” that she has no plans to ditch her maiden name, which she said she worked “very hard for.”

In a surprising attack on gender equality, Akon declared that men are "the diving monarchs of the universe" and that women exist simply to help them.
During a recent visit on The Joe Budden Podcast, the 49-year-old American rapper startled fans with his extremely antiquated opinions regarding gender roles in relationships between men and women. 
During the interview, Akon also bizarrely claimed men are able to make babies without women, because he claims all you need is sperm and an incubator in order to create life, explaining: ‘We’re gods, we are the ones that create life.’
Weighing in on women in Africa, Akon said: ‘The women [there] treat you like a man, like a king. They aren’t competing with you or fighting for equality because they understand that men and women could never be equal. They understand their roles.
‘The roles there and very defined and very clean, here even if you say the word role to a woman. If I say, if you play your role and you play mine – they say, what the f**k you mean play my role? what role?
‘Everybody has a role that is infrastructure to life and if the woman doesn’t understand her position that she plays in life, everybody is confused.’
He continued: ‘How can a man and women play the exact same role, where’s the balance? In Africa it’s very clear, the woman plays the role of the woman.’
Akon, who recently shocked fans with his $7,500 hair transplant, continued by explaining his views on procreation, insisting that men are able to have babies without the assistance of a woman.
He said: ‘Women don’t create life, they support the creation of life. We’re gods, we are the ones that create life.
‘Let me tell you the science of it. A man right now can create life without a woman, but a woman cannot create life without a man.
‘If I wanted to do it right now, I would shoot my sperm and put it in an incubator and give it nine month, even maybe less with today’s science, and a baby will be born.
‘A woman can’t do that. So men we are the creators of life in actuality.’
Explaining what he thought the problem is, Akon said that women have ‘lost their power’ and women feel the need to pick up their ‘roles’.
He said: ‘Men have lost the idea of the power they actually possess and passed it to the women. Here in America the men are afraid of their power
‘Until the man man’s up, the woman has every right to take your role and say that she is equal to you.’
He then goes on to insist that things were more ‘defined’ when it comes to gender roles in the 1950s.
Fans have had a strong reaction to Akon’s rant, particularly his claims that men are able to have children without women.
One said: ‘It is shocking how many people believe that babies come from sperm and a womb. As if your grandmother didn’t carry half of your DNA months before your mother was born. Sir!’
Another wrote: ‘Technically all men could die off and women could repopulate the world with the dead mens frozen sperm. He had it backwards, but his ego is apparently blinding him from understanding how things actually work.

Real estate company Revolution Plus Properties, with offices in Lagos, has once more denied the charges of fraud brought against it.
The business has been in the spotlight since last year, when several irate clients accused it of fraud.
The business has previously denied the allegations and added that it "was built on ethics and trust."
Additionally, it tried a number of image-laundering tactics to disassociate itself from the accusations.
Recently, after Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham declared she had severed connections with the business, the fraud claims reappeared.
“It is important to place it on record that our brand is built on integrity and for over eight years we have conducted our dealings and operations with this principle,” the statement reads.
“We have some dissatisfied customers with pending allocation; we continue to resolve these issues with sufficient records and documents to show for these efforts.
“We have always posted pictures and given updates on this page of how we are allocating clients in our various estates, it is an ongoing process and we plan to do more even in this New Year 2023.”
The company also confirmed that it stopped working with Toyin in December 2022.
“We would like to state that Toyin Abraham who was one of our brand ambassadors for some years was disengaged December 2022 therefore all advertising materials with her images will no longer be used on social media, billboards and other medium. We wish her all the very best in her endeavor and we appreciate her for the period she worked with us,” it added.
“We urge the discerning public to disregard any statements whether insinuated or categorical, linking our brand to fraud. It is not only mischievous; it is malicious and baseless.”

Yemi Alade, a Nigerian musician, has responded to the Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé Eyadéma, president of Togo, allegedly being pregnant rumor.
Rumors have been circulating that singer Yemi Alade was having an affair and becoming pregnant for Togo's president Faure Gnassingbe.
Tosin Silverdam, a gossip YouTuber, posted audio of a man saying that Yemi Alade is expecting a child with the President of Togo and that he intends to make her his sixth wife on his website.
He added that women aren't always against polygamy; rather, they simply object when the partner is a destitute man.
Yemi Alade shared a laughing emoji and a pregnant emoji on her Twitter page in response to the rumor.
She continued by making fun of the people who were rumors.

Oscar excitement about Angela Bassett's "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" performance went all the way to Sundance, where both her "Master of None" co-star Lena Waithe and "Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler backed her for the prize.“She’s so incredible that sometimes you forget. You know?” Coogler said in reaction to Bassett’s frontrunner status. “Her work ethic is insane. I came up playing sports so you notice this working with her, it’s like you have an extra coach on the field. I find on days when she’s working I can get more done. It’s just the truth.”
Coogler added, “She would do this thing on the first movie where she doesn’t really leave set. She stays crazy close, which is nuts for an actor like her. It sets such an amazing example. Nobody wants to go back to the trailer in between when Angela is sitting right next to the camera.”
Waithe and Bassett played mother and daughter on an acclaimed episode of Netflix’s “Master of None.” Waithe, who won an Emmy for writing the episode, said she “was honored” to sit across from Bassett during the making of the show and added that Bassett has become “a second mother” in real life.
“I’m so grateful for that,” Waithe said. “Seeing her in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’… it warms my heart even more to see her get her flowers that everybody knows she deserves. Seyi Tinubu, the son of the All Progressive Congress's Bola Tinubu, who is running for president, has won a chieftaincy position in Anambra State in southeast Nigeria.
On January 24, 2023, in the State's Awka South Local Government Area, he received the chieftaincy title of Nwannedinamba from Igwe Peter Anukwui, the traditional monarch of the Mbaukwu kingdom.
While thanking the monarch for the honor, Seyi urged Anambra State voters to vote for his father in the upcoming February 25 general elections.
Chief Tinubu, who was also at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre in Awka, spoke to Newsmen about his father’s presidential ambition, saying he was in the state to galvanize support for his father’s presidential ambition and to reassure the people that his father has the best interests of the state at heart.
