 Ubi Franklin, has stated that he was in debt before the COVID-19 lockdown which occurred last year.

The popular showbiz personality in an Instagram Live session with fans said, “A lady sent me a message and said my friends are laughing at me for becoming a blogger. I told her to ask them if I can send my account number so that I can stop blogging. She laughed.

“That was the fuel I needed to continue my Instagram live interviews. I went live on Instagram daily interviewing six people every day for months.

“After I did that for one month, a brand came on board. Before the pandemic and as a result of some businesses that I did that didn’t do well, I was in debt. I was in so much debt and I will say it here. Guess what? I got so much sponsorship from my Instagram Live interviews.

“People don’t know that we all have personal things that we are dealing with. I didn’t go into Instagram Live interviews because I wanted to make money. I didn’t know there was going to be money.”

Reacting to the criticisms from fans on social media who called him a ‘cameraman because he was seen at the burial of Obi Cubana’s mother taking pictures, Franklin said, “I went to Oba, people called me cameraman. How soothing is it to be official cameraman to a billionaire? That is exciting.

During an appearance in a Friday, July 23 episode of “Victory The Podcast”, the “Entourage” alum shared with his former co-star Kevin Dillon as well as Doug Ellin that he and his daughter contracted the disease. “I like to think I’m a pretty responsible person, even now that I have a baby. But I don’t know man … whatever this new Delta variant is. F**k man, I got sick,” he opened up.

The 47-year-old star admitted, “It’s been hard,” noting, “Anyone that has a kid knows that it’s hard when your kid is sick, you know? Because there’s really nothing you can do for them.” On how scary it was, he described it, “It’s a close call.”

Actress, Moyo Lawal, has said that she does not have any insecurity about her voluptuous body though she had been called silly names in the past.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, Lawal said, “I started acting when I was not voluptuous. I grew into this shape.

My looks did not really help me get into the movie industry; my charisma did the trick. I was also very shy and my glasses made me look awkward those days. I have always had the shape but it was not as pronounced as it is now.

But, I will say I have been lucky. Whenever I went for auditions, I always got picked. My talents helped me too and people were nice to me. I believe it was God at work. I enjoy my body and I do not have any issues with it. It has helped me stay in the news without doing anything ‘bad.’ I celebrate myself and I’m thankful.

Iniubong Umoren, a final year student at Oyo University’s Philosophy Department in Orukanam State, set out in search of work to keep body and soul together just to keep the police informed of her family, who responded quickly to a friend’s complaint that she was horribly killed by the accused Uduak Akpan.

Maurcio Pochettino has signed a one-year contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain to continue as manager..

Pochettino joined PSG in January and penned a deal until June 2022. His contract with the French giants now runs until June 2023.

The 49-year-old was a surprise contender for the vacancy at former club Tottenham Hotspur, following the departure of Jose Mourinho, but talks stalled and Tottenham moved for Nuno Espirito Santo instead.

Pochettino’s staff have also been handed contract extensions of the same length.

Kika Good Hair was beaten on July 23 by members of a family believed to be from the influential Ofor-Atta family in Ghana. Osunde, who is also wanted by Nigerian police in Nigeria after she called a Ghanaian businessman on her social networks, claiming that the man claims to be connected to a property she wanted to rent or buy just for her sake. she later learns that it was not him, but collected money from her real estate agent. She made further accusations and gave the man an ultimatum to return the money. Kika also reportedly called the father of the man who is said to be very influential in the country. The family reported the matter to the police, accusing them of publishing false news and threatening damage, and Kike was asked to answer a few questions, but did not appear. His lawyers then sent a letter of apology to the Ofori-Atta family, but that did not seem to calm things down.  

On Wednesday, July 21st, the police issued a warrant of arrest for her.

Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo, has come out to defend Bishop Oyedepo who recently fired 40 pastors from his church for being ''unfruitful and blatant failures''.

Reacting to the development via his IG page, Fatoyinbo said there is no room for laziness and unfruitfulness. He posed a question that if a person was fired from a bank for not meeting their ''deliverables', would such a person go on social media to rant?
