Uzbekistan Jails Ex-president’s Daughter For Fraud

Uzbekistan has jailed the eldest daughter of late president Islam Karimov, Gulnara Karimova charging her with fraud and money laundering.

In a statement the Uzbekistan Prosecutor-General’s Office said that “Gulnara Karimova has been charged” with crimes including fraud, money laundering and concealing foreign currency “and she has been held behind bars”.

Karimova, 45, is the eldest daughter of the late authoritarian president of the secretive ex-Soviet Central Asian state, who died following a reported stroke in September 2016.

The only reason why Silk scarfs/bonnets/hair nets will all smell is because they are dirty.......Common sense!!! Your preferred silk scarf will smell as much as or more than hair nets if left dirty. But let's not fuss too much over this ladies.......I'm sure Toke just needed content for her video, cos I don't see any difference in hair nets & silk scarfs. I used to fart when I felt like it while my hubby and I were dating. Gang who robbed John Terry's home of £400k worth of luxury items will be jailed for 28 years

These are the faces of the men who burgled footballer,John Terry's house and carted away luxury items worth £400 thousand.

The former Chelsea footballer and current Aston Villa captain was on a skiing holiday with his family when their £5million mansion was raided and ransacked in February.

Darren Eastaugh, 30, Joshua Sumer, 27, Roy Head, 28, and Oliver Hart, 25, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit burglary between February 1 and March 27 this year.They have been jailed foralmost 28 years

According to Daily Mirror, referring to the Terry burglary, the judge said:

"It might have been a mistake to post a family photograph on social media to show he was away on holiday.
"As a result his home was deliberately targeted and the master bedroom suite was ransacked.
They spent some time searching for items to steal. Not content with the original haul they returned with a third man and an angle grinder determined to get into the safe.

I slathered him with sunscreen; he was looking purple, 'cause he's black, so when we put on sunscreen we look purple," Banks said. As they were leaving, Banks spotted the paparazzi taking pictures.

"I'm trying to hide him with a blanket. I pull over the gas station after they get the shot, I text his dad [fashion photographer Erik Asla] and I'm like, 'I've got to put this picture out before the paparazzi. I don't want them to make money off our child and have the first picture.' So, I posted the damn picture," she recalled. "The next day, there ain't no paparazzi pictures, 'cause mama knew how to hide that camera. She's a supermodel for a reason! And so now his picture is out there and I didn't need it to be!"

Beyoncé's tried to dismiss a lawsuit against her has failed .
According to Billboard,a Louisiana federal judge denied the singer's motion to dismiss the copyright claim on Tuesday. Her side is claiming fair use of a digital sampling of a sound recording - an act that the late Anthony Barre's estate is suing over.
The artist, also known as Messy Mya, can supposedly be heard saying "

What happened at the New Orleans," "Bitch, I’m back by popular demand" and "Oh yeah baby. I like that."

His sister, Angel Barre, claims those samples infringe on two performance art works of Barre's.

"Plaintiffs have plausibly alleged in their complaint that Defendants did not change or alter the 'expressive content or message' of Anthony Barré’s YouTube videos, but rather used unmodified clips without adding anything new," wrote the judge in her decision.

The Barre estate is seeking more than $20 million in royalty payments and other damages.

George Clooney, is set to sue a French Tabloid that published photos of his twins.

The magazine, Voici, became the first tabloid to publish photos of the twins Alexander and Ella without the couple's consent.

In the photo, the twins is seen carrying by their parents Amal and George at their Lake Como estate in Italy with the tile "the very first pictures of the twins in the arms of their parents. Do not miss all our exclusive photos."

Clooney sent a statement to E! News saying:

"over the last week photographers from Voici magazine scaled our fence, climbed our tree and illegally took pictures of our infants inside our home. Make no mistake, the photographers, the agency and the magazine will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The safety of our children demands it."

Diamond Platnumz has been accused of copying Davido’s song Fall. The song that he’s accused of copying is his single, Eneka, that already has over a million views on Youtube.

Speaking on AYO TV, the producer stated that what people don’t understand is that the two songs are Afro beats , but some changes made to them to sound more upbeat.
He said, “I’ve heard these reports and there is one thing people need to understand, the beat used in both songs is an afro-beat which has been fused with American styles like crunk and trap to make a modern Afro-beat that sounds a lot like Davido’s ‘Fall’, Selebobo’s music and Tekno’s music and aside from a few tweaks put in each song, the music basically sounds the same.”
He continued, “This is music and we all know every type of music has its own style, be it Zouk or be it reggae, the beats of these genres are similar. Even in Jazz the same case applies, there are some beats that have to be similar for it to be classified under jazz.
He ended by stating that he’s not concerned about what people have to say about the songs, what he’s most concerned about is if the Diamond’s song will be loved by people because the style used is different.
“I am not really concerned if people think the beats are similar or not, what I am more concerned with is whether people will love this different style of music, how it will perform in the charts and the reception. That is what I am concerned with,” he concluded.

Modupe was trending but my suggestion met with stiff opposition "she's not a Genevieve woman, are we trying to encourage body enhancement, she is not a role model.. She has done boob job and bla bla bla.. " Only one or two of my team members supported me. " I am curious Abt this lady". I said . I want to know what made her choose that line of career at barely 25 yrs of age and why she is so bold to admit she had had cosmetic surgery at a time when no one dared to admit such. She had guts and I wanted to see what made her tick. My team still didn't buy into my cover subject .."our readers will not buy that copy , I was told. At that point, I was thinking as a business woman "We are going ahead and that's final, she has a story and I want to hear it, let's not judge what we don't understand". So we went ahead with the cover and interview ..one of my best interviews in 14 years I must say. Modupe gave me as much as I gave her , I hit her hard and she hit right back. She surprised me with her brilliance,audacity & business savviness.

Then that issue hit the street as the most controversial.. Many hated Modupe's guts as much as ours but they must also have loved that body that hotness even if.. because we sold out for the first time since we stated Genevieve; We printed 5k copies and sold out. Before her cover we couldn't dispose of 2k copies of mags. Our readers obviously were also curious abt Modupe to part with their N600 though a few told me how disappointed they were that I put "that girl" on the cover of our Genevieve"! I tell you, it was one of the smartest business moves I made in the earliest years of Genevieve. You have to change a formula that is no longer working, you have to take risks, you can't play it safe all the time, don't be afraid of controversies. Sometimes you have to fix it even if ain't broken.. .

The remains of the official car of Nigeria’s Minister of Mines and Power in the first republic, Jacob Obande has been found parked in Otukpo, Benue State.I it was a develop country it would be in a museum.

Jacob Obande was a minister of state in charge of the Nigerian Army and Establishments during the Nigerian First Republic and was also a Minister of Mines and Power.

In 1958, he was the parliamentary secretary to the Prime Minister, Tafawa Balewa.
Obande was born in Elelazi, Igumale, Benue State, to the family of Obande Ochogbo, the district head of Igunmale. He was educated at the Methodist School in Igunmale and later attended the Teachers Training College, Uzuakoli. After completing his teacher’s training program, he began work as a teacher before subsequently working as an hotelier, clerical officer and contractor with the Nigerian Railways.

In 1951, he was an honourable representative from Idomaland in the Northern house of Assembly and later in 1954, he became a member of the Idoma/Otukpo Local Authority.
During the second
republic, Obande served as a state chairman for the defunct National Party of Nigeria
Throughout his life, Obande served as member of various boards, including, Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigeria Airways, Nigeria Hotels, Benue-Plateau Marketing Company and Nigeria reinsurance.

Specifically in the situation with Kylie, where you’ve had a young girl people have seen on television since she was a kid and they literally told her she was so ugly … the ugly person in the family. She went and did apparently everything the world deems as beautiful. The even crazier part is that everybody loves her for it.
What I find interesting is that this is something that is being displayed to my generation — showing young girls, young guys that if you do everything that society wants you to be, not only will you be praised for it but you will make money for it. You can be profitable for not being who you truly are.
I would just say always be real with yourself, because at the end of the day that’s all we got. There’s nothing more important in life than being true to ourselves and being 100 percent loving to ourselves. Putting our feelings [first] and how we wanna feel and do that above what anybody thinks no matter how impossible, selfish, weird, scary. or embarrassing that may seem.

Patrick Kluivert’s Shane 9 year-old Son Signs Nike Deal

Shane, the son of Barcelona and Netherlands legend Patrick Kluivert, has signed a contract with sportswear giant Nike.
The 9-year-old took to his Instagram account, where he has 120,000 followers, to share the good news.
He wrote: “Very proud signed my first contract with @nike ”
Proud father Patrick also shared the news on social. He wrote: “My son so proud of you @shanekluivert Just signed his first contract with @Nike at nine years #proud #love.”

Apart from Shane’s famous father, his brother Justin Kluivert, 18, is a Dutch professional football player, who currently plays for Ajax as a right winger. This makes Shane Kluivert the third member of the Kluivert family to make a name for himself.
Companies such as Nike and Adidas have talent identification departments which sign up promising young players.
