10 medium tomatoes
1 big scotch bonnet
5 spring onion
1 medium onion
1 tablespoon garlic

CeeLo Green apologizes to Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion; Blames bloggers for twisting his words

 CeeLo Green telling Far Out magazine he's not impressed by the ladies' immoral behavior and sexed-up lyrics in their "WAP" music video.

"A lot of music today is very unfortunate and disappointing on a personal and moral level," he said. "There was once a time when we were savvy enough to code certain things. We could express to those it was meant for with the style of language we used. But now music is shameless, it is sheer savagery."

But fans dragged the pop singer, with many reminding him of his own raunchy lyrics in hit songs such as "F**k You."
Many on social media considered his remarks sexist and hypocritical toward women. On Wednesday, CeeLo took to Instagram to address the backlash, claiming it was all one big "misunderstanding".
In a lengthy note, he wrote, "Firstly, I am an advocate of artistic freedom and expression, as well as a fan of Nicki, Cardi & Meagan [sic]. I know most of them personally and consider Cardi & Offset family. Therefore, I would never disrespect them by any means. I acknowledge them all as powerful, beautiful and influential women...and professionals."
CeeLo went on to accuse bloggers and tabloid reporters of stirring up controversy by twisting his words.

"I wholeheartedly apologize to each of them for the inconvenience they have been caused due to a snippet of my interview being used as a headline, and in turn creating controversy and disconnect between me and these ladies as well as their fans. Know that I support everyone who is part of our community & (Black) culture. Always have and always will!"

He added: "Much love to all of the female artists who are running the game and handling their business. With Love, Lo."

Genevieve Nnaji has been chosen as the ambassador of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2020. The Nollywood actress and producer has joined the list of 50 celebrated filmmakers and actors who are invited as the ambassadors of the TIFF.


The invitees include Priyanka Chopra, Tatiana Maslany, and Shamier Anderson, American actors Brie Larson, Kasi Lemmons, Zachary Quinto and Olivia Wilde; Israeli-American actor Natalie Portman; British actor Carey Mulligan; French actor Julie Delpy; Italian actor Isabella Rossellini, Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal; and Chinese actor Donnie Yen.

A debate is brewing on social media on the issue of Kamala Harris's race. Atlanta Black Star recalled the intense debate between CNN anchor Don Lemon and political analyst April Ryan on February 13, 2019.
Lemon and Ryan argued over whether Harris, 55, could call herself African American, Black or mixed-race.
Lemon concluded that Harris -- the product of an Indian mother and mixed-race Jamaican father -- is in fact mixed race and definitely not African American.
Lemon, 54, shouted down Ryan when she tried to emphatically insist that Harris was African American
"[Harris] is a Black woman," said Ryan. "She is a mixed-race woman. When you see her, you see her Blackness. But she is also South Asian ... and her dad is Jamaican. She is a Black woman."
But Lemon argued that Harris doesn't share the experience of American descendants of slaves, also known as "ADOS."
"No, no, no, no. I don't think you hear what people are saying. To want the distinction to say is she African-American, or is she Black or is she -- whatever -- there is nothing wrong with that. There is a difference between being African-American and being Black."
Ryan interjected: "So she could indeed be African-American mixed with others, but she is a Black woman."
"Jamaica is not America," Lemon said, interrupting Ryan. "Jamaica did not come out of Jim Crow. I'm just saying."

"She was born here in America!" Ryan shot back. "So, let's talk about [Sen.] Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz was born in Canada and his father —"

Second republic Governor of old Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, says President Muhammadu Buhari has woefully failed the nation.
He also faulted President Buhari over the high level of insecurity and killings in the country, mostly in Southern Kaduna.
Speakng while condemning the incessant attacks and killings in Southern Kaduna and other parts of the country, Alhaji Balarebe Musa, said, “No serious and patriotic government will allow this level of Killings of its citizens by terrorist and be watching aimlessly.”
According to the former old Kaduna State governor, President Buhari had failed in all aspects of governance, including the economy and the handling of insecurity in the country.
He added, “Nigerians must do a lot to ensure that civil war does not break out under the Buhari’s administration, as relayed by Prof Obadiah Mailafia.”
Alhaji Balarebe Musa, who was reacting to Prof. Obadiah Mailafia outburst that bandits have taken over Nigeria, in an interview, said the decision by the Federal Government to import arms and ammunitions from Russia, China, United States and Jordan was not something to be taken seriously anymore, since the government had allowed the terrorists and armed bandits to take over the country before realising the need for arms importation.

Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress’ in Edo State, pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has bagged a chieftaincy title in Auchi land.
Igbere TV gathered that Ize-Iyamu was on Wednesday unveiled as the ‘Itsemakhona’ of Auchi land by the First Class traditional ruler, Otaru of Auchi.
Itsemakhona is translated to mean “this is our own…” in the English language.
The APC and Ize-Iyamu had taken their campaigns to Edo North where Auchi is grouped under. Auchi is under Etsako West local government.
The Edo state Governorship election holds September 19, 2020. While Ize-Iyamu is the APC candidate, Governor Godwin Obaseki is the Peoples Democratic Party’ candidate.
Both the APC and PDP are the two major political parties in the election with Ize-Iyamu and Obaseki as major candidates in the poll.

Lebanon Govt steps down over Beirut blast

Lebanon’s government resigned Monday in the aftermath of last week’s deadly explosion in the capital Beirut.

Prime Minister Hassan Diab said he would resign alongside all of his ministers.
“We will back down and stand with the people. We need to open the door for the people,” he said in an address to the nation.
The move comes after enraged protesters and world leaders alike demanded political reform following the Aug. 4 blast that killed almost 160 people and injured thousands more.
Protesters took to the streets of Beirut again Sunday with a video showing what appeared to be tear gas canisters being fired at demonstrators who had congregated in a street near the parliament.
Last week’s blast, which sent a mushroom-like cloud into the sky above Beirut’s port, dealt a blow to a country already on its knees.

Speaking about the exercise, the Chairman of the Agency, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, said the Mosque had been sealed for over four months, due to the attack on officials of the Lagos State COVID-19 Taskforce by some worshippers while enforcing the lockdown directives by the State and Federal Government.

The sacked UNILAG VC, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe is presently on the premises of the University Campus, leading the protest by the ASUU, even as the University Senate rejects his sacking.
Rising from its emergency meeting held on Thursday morning, by 88 members and anchored by Prof Chioma Ago, a former Dean of the Faculty of Law, the institution’s Senate said the removal of Ogundipe was against UNILAG’s regulation, adding that the Council removed Ogundipe without giving him the opportunity to defend himself.
They also kicked against the appointment of Prof Omololu Soyombo as Acting Vice Chancellor of the institution.

FC Dallas defender Reggie Cannon has condemned the “disgusting” booing of players kneeling during the national anthem by some home fans before their match against Nashville.
Almost 3,000 fans were inside the Toyota Stadium, with supporters permitted at some Major League Soccer (MLS) games if local rules allow.
Some boos could be heard as players from both teams took a knee in protest against racial injustice.
“How disgraceful is that?” said Cannon.

Fashion, Tourism Contribute N3.2trn To Economy ― Lai mohammed

The fashion industry, hospitality and tourism contributed over N3.2 trillion to the national economy, a report by the Federal Government’s Post COVID-19 Initiative Committee on the Creative Industry has revealed.
The minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed on Thursday, gave an insight into the report recently submitted to the government by the committee led by ace comedian, Ali Baba.
Mohammed, who was a guest on NAN Forum in Abuja, said that the recommendations by the committee, set up to advise the government on how to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on the creative industry, were revealing.
He disclosed that an implementation committee will be set up on Tuesday, to determine which of the recommendations will be sent to the Federal Executive Council for policy decisions and National Assembly for legislation.
