Kareem “DJ BruckUp” Hawthrone, is accused of swindling #Morehouse & #Spelman College #alumni of about $300,000 during their homecoming party. [FYI: Kareem is married to Steve’s step-daughter, Morgan Hawthorne. Morgan’s mother is Steve’s wife, Marjorie]. Rumor has it, #DJ #BRUCKUP and his T-12 Entertainment company, in charge of hosting this years party at #Atlanta’s #Georgia Aquarium, was allegedly charging party goers upwards of $4,000 for VIP packages that were supposed to include sections equipped with couches and bottles, but were greeted with “watered down” cups of liquor and #IKEA futons. #BruckUp also promised that patrons would be able to enjoy a night of “partying with the sharks” as the aquarium was to serve as a backdrop but the DJ was allegedly played hits from the early 2000’s from his #laptop with a #Beats Pill and the venue was pitch black with no light illuminating the fish tanks.

Cable theft at Eko Atlantic

The police have arraigned four men at an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos for allegedly stealing diesel and cable wire belonging to Eko Atlantic Company, Lagos.

Samuel Enoch, 32, Taye Ajayi, 28, Kayode Baba, 32 and Segun Adeojo, 35, were accused of committing the offences alongside their accomplices who are at large.

According to prosecuting Corporal Chinedu Njoku, at about 5AM on October 29, the defendants and their accomplices, all putting on black t-shirts, gained entry into the firm’s premises by scaling the fence,the Nation reports.

They drew out diesel with a hose from the tank of an excavator parked nearby into their 30-litre Jerry can and also severed several wire cables which they tried to cart away.

The men, he said, were seen and chased by the firm’s security operatives who caught two of the defendants, Enoch and Ajayi with the stolen items in their possession, while the others escaped.

Odion Ighalo Implicated in Bribery Case, Risks Jail Term

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, get a 2-year jail term having been fingered in a bribery scandal while he was playing in Spain with Granada.

Marca, said the provincial district attorney’s office of Granada has requested a two-year prison term and a fine of 3,000 Euros for Ighalo, his teammate, Diego Buonanotte, and 93 others for allegedly bribing their way to pass a driving test.
According to the provisional writing of the prosecution, in 2012 and 2013 someone was hired to write the exams for Ighalo and the other accused.
After the test was written, the errors made on the sheet were deleted.
Investigation further revealed that three syndicates of Íllora (Granada), Mengíbar (Jaén) and Ciudad Real who moved to Granada allegedly recruited students to help write exams for clients who wanted to pass the driving license exams, and were charged between 1,500 and 2,500 Euros.
Following the incident, prosecutor found the Super Eagles striker culpable of the crime of falsifying an official document.
Meanwhile, as is the practice, Ighalo may be dragged to appear in court to testify in Granada if an open trial is to be held.

I got tired of doing the regular bridal inspiration shoot. The idea came based on some of the past experiences we’ve had on the job, we thought of addressing it in a real life scenario, also as a platform to try out new concepts and for vendors to showcase their creativity on their own terms.

I Don’t Mess Around With Women — Majid Michel

 
Ghanaian superstar actor, Majid in an interview with our correspondent in Lagos, described the experience as very challenging. He said, “Leaving home to a very distant land to shoot a movie in a forest full of insects and darkness was quite challenging for me. We didn’t put on tops while the shooting lasted. Even if we did, it still would not have prevented all kinds of insects — not just mosquitoes — from biting our faces, bare feet and hands.”
The experience also exposed the religious part of the award-winning actor, which many movie fans had never known. Asked if he learnt any lesson from his stint in the ‘forest’, he replied, “I have just realised that the authority of Jesus Christ must be asserted in every culture and tradition. I believe that Jesus came to purge these cultures and to take them away. Also, He came to take away our traditions and to replace them with His kingdom on earth. I believe that the real culture is the way of God.”
Majid’s statement, no doubt, contrasts sharply with his image on the screen as a male sex symbol. Reminded about this image, his appearance in several amorous movie scenes and asked if he had always kept the Christian part of him aside when going on location, the actor said, “When I am on the set of a movie, I am a completely different Majid. The character that you see on the screen is somebody else who tries to convey the message in a movie to an audience. This person’s goal is to educate the people on the things that are happening to the society in real life. I am Majid Michel, but I play different characters in the movies. So, in a movie, you see a character, not Majid.”
Although it is common knowledge that he is adored by many female movie fans, the Ghanaian told our correspondent that he had never been obsessed with women, as portrayed in most of the movies that he has been featured. Then, admitting that he was often drawn to women for different reasons other than romance, he said, “I like women a lot, but I don’t mess around with them. I am not a womaniser. I am just drawn to a lot of women and it ends there.”

Mariah Carey & James Packer Haven’t Quite Called It Quits, ....

            

Carey's rep tells Entertainment Tonight that the couple had a huge argument while vacationing on a yacht in Greece last month and that she hasn’t seen him since. In the shot above, the couple was all smiles while on vacay in Mykonos with Mimi’s twins Roe and Roc in September.
The rep confirms their fight didn’t have anything to do with either of them cheating or Mariah’s alleged extensive spending.
“The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah,” the rep confirmed.
According to TMZ, James did "something really bad" involving one of her assistants. A source close to Mimi revealed after the fight, Mariah went on the yacht and returned to L.A.
As of now, it’s unclear if they will stay together since they’re currently working through their issues.
“They are trying to work it out. Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together,” said Mariah’s rep.

The synopsis of the film:
‘Honourable’ addresses the issues of Integrity, Corruption and Unemployment from an encounter between an unemployed citizen and a nonchalant politician.



The premiere is set to take place on Monday, October 31st, 2016 at Freedom Park.

Tiwa wants to ensure that he has a father figure around.” - Savage to reconcile with Billz

 It seems Tiwa Savage, is ready to mend bridges with her estranged hubby, Tunji Balogun aka Tee Billz.

According to sources close to the singer, her body language indicates that she’s ready to reconcile with her baby’s daddy. Already, there have been meetings between both families aimed at a peaceful reconciliation,Vanguard reports.

Tiwa is also said to have been meeting with older couples and counsellors who have been advising her to give her marriage another chance in respect of the ‘for better, for worse’ vows she took at the altar. 

Our source who commented under the condition of anonymity stated that, 

“You can take my word for it that a reconciliation is in the offing between Tiwa and Teebillz. She has told people close to her that she misses Tunji, and she wants him back in her life. Also, as their son, Jamal (Jam Jam) is growing older, Tiwa wants to ensure that he has a father figure around.” 

Speaking further, the source said,

 “Of course, she has also given a condition that Teebillz gets help so that all the issues that led to his public meltdown will not happen again.” 

However, there are also reports that Tiwa’s mom was badly hurt by the negative things Teebillz said about her on Instagram, but she’s ready to forgive and forget all because all she really wants is her daughter’s happiness. 

As a pointer to the fact that Tiwa is ready to accommodate her husband, she paused her performance last Sunday at the Three Thrones concert which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, to seek for marital advice from ‘veteran’ singing couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe (TWO).

 “You’ve been married for so long, and you’re also in the limelight; how have you managed to keep your relationship intact for all these years? There’s a lot of pressure on young couples and I’m very jealous of you,” Tiwa said right on stage. 

The elderly couple responded by telling her that it is imperative to ‘marry the man you love, communication, the only third party in your marriage should be God.’ 

Meanwhile, Teebillz’s whereabouts is been jealously guarded like a high-value painting at a museum. His known friends in the entertainment industry have studiously maintained sealed lips in response to inquiries about where their friend is. 

But it was gathered that Teebillz is presently not in Nigeria, as he travelled out shortly after the couple’s fight in April. But the good news is that the hermit guy has reopened his Instagram page which he surreptitiously closed down in the wake of the marriage brouhaha.

Shehu Shagari’s Granddaughter & Namadi Sambo’s In-law Set to Wed

Nana Shagari ,the granddaughter of former Nigerian President Shehu Shagari, and Saleh Lukat, former Vice President Namadi Sambo’s in-law are set to wed in one of the most glamorous weddings of the year!



Nana graduated with a First Class degree from the University of Leicester, UK at the age of 19 and is currently a student at the Nigerian Law School. Her father, Muktar Shagari was one of the longest serving Ministers during the Olusegun Obasanjo regime and also served as the deputy governor of Sokoto State for 8 years.

Saleh is an enterprising businessman, with some successful businesses to his credit.

Preparations are already in top gear for this grand event which is set to take place in the capital city, Abuja, before the end of the year.
