Let a boy paint his nails, Alicia Keys advices parents . .
In an interview with Allure, Keys explained her take on gender roles and the societal norms. “I am so sick of the way women are forced to feel inadequate in many different circumstances or forced to feel insecure by the way we we’re portrayed or the way we look,’ she said. . . She continued discussing the problems with society and how we force gender roles on children. As a mother with two sons and a husband, she touched on the skewed beliefs about the behavior and emotions of men. . . “I am so annoyed at the way we force boys to be fake strong – don’t cry, don’t be soft. Let a boy be able to dance!” Keys said. “Let a boy paint his nails. So a boy wants to paint his nails. Who cares! All these strange, oppressive ideas. . . You know what would be really cool? If we stopped offering our opinions unless asked,” she continued. “If nobody asked you, keep your mouth shut! Like with the Internet? That’s just too much opinion. People are mean. It’s a sickness.”
Alicia Keys in minimal makeup for her Allure Magazine January Cover, the singer continues to show that she’s not concerned by critics disapproval of her no make-up decision.
According to David Denicolo forAllure Magazine, Alicia Keys said: “I’m not a slave to makeup. I’m not a slave to not wearing makeup either. I get to choose at [any] given moment. That’s my right.”

ANGELINA JOLIE AND BRAD PITT
RELEASE FIRST OFFICIAL STATEMENT TOGETHER
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
have released a joint statement, asserting that they plan to keep details of
legal proceedings away from the public domain in order to protect their six
children.
"The parties and their
counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children
and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private
judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious
resolution of any remaining issues. The parents are committed to act as a united
front to effectuate recovery and reunification," the couple said in a statement
obtained by CNN. Jolie filed for divorce in September, citing
irreconcilable differences. She requested physical custody of their six
children, giving Pitt joint legal custody and visitation rights, but Pitt
requested joint custody. They are said to currently have a voluntary temporary
custody agreement in place that allows Pitt supervised visitation with the
children.

Tonto Dikeh apologised to her colleague Mercy Johnson for calling her child, Purity, a witch when she was born.
Nollywood actresses have also weighed in on the apology ...read below.
Victoria Inyama said, @goldmynetv it’s sad how popularity makes some of d younger ones
lose it. You diss others then one day your life get rough and situations
you used to mock others is served as a meal to you. Then when it all
comes down, we link God, like God wasn’t there all these while. We tank
God. Why do we even intentionally hurt pple, to even a child. It’s
honourable to apologise but d truth is why do that in d 1st place. You diss someone’s baby but you hide your baby’s face. Let’s be
kind to each other. Life is full of unpleasant surprises. We all going
through issues. She still got her ship sailing but d other ship now got a
leak. Seal d leak and stay in d ship, it’s all about mending and
patching. Stay in d ship, forgive, love, learn, keep praying especially
for our past deeds that might come to hunt us. Practice d preaching. As
far as there’s no Violence, stay in and forgive. God bless us all @franklyn_lumiere then telling her you want to introduce her to
Christ? That’s not sincere apology to me. Like Mercy doesn’t know
Christ.
Nkiru Umeh said, When I say motherhood is a miracle, this is what am talking
about! @tontolet @mercyjohnsonokojie just proved that. There comes a
point in life when fun no longer means party, drinking and staying out
late or only thinking about yourself. Fun means family outings or
dinners, cooking for the family, a messy house, sleeping by 10pm and
hearing voices, assisting with home works, school runs, buying toys and
more. The greatest gift and blessing in life is being a mom. Pregnancy
and motherhood are the most beautiful and significantly life-altering
events that I have ever experienced. Is a glorious blessing and I am
very thankful for that. Motherhood is such a beautiful thing and I’m
happy God found me worthy to experience this miracle called motherhood. @tontolet@mercyjohnsonokojie sisters, fellow proud mothers, you
just made my day. Now this is the type of positive energy we need in
Nollywood. #NkiruUmeh#cuttiemum #nollywoodactor

MMM Supporters in Celebration of Return in Nigeria | Watch the Clip
MMM’s letter to its participants stated that “in a month, not only 30
percent will be added to your initial amount, but, it can increase
itself due to Bitcoin price growth”.
Mavordi Mondial Movement, better known as MMM, is back in Nigeria. The video clip here shows MMM supporters celebrating the return of the Ponzi scheme in Nigeria.
Watch clip below
MMM returns with new conditions, which includes encouraging participants to use bitcoin for transactions.
The ponzi scheme, in a statement posted on its official Twitter
account, said, “This is to officially inform you that MMM Nigeria is
open for business a day earlier than promised! Let’s go there
Nigerians”.
Upon resumption, the scheme says its members will now be able to pay
and receive money in bitcoins, citing the cryptocurrency’s steady growth
in value as a reason for participants to adopt the currency.
MMM founder, Sergey Mavrodi, said in the statement,
“The holidays are over, and we”re now open. Just as promised. (You might
have already noticed that we always stick to our promises
“Actually, we promised to be open on January 14, but we”re open now,
January 13, as you can see, which is a day earlier. (Well, I hope, the
members of the System will forgive us for that.
“It’s related to the hysteria raised by the authorities and the mass
media around MMM. By joining forces, they’ve managed to nearly give the
members of the System a heart attack and have frightened them out of
their wits.
“Poor souls don”t know what to expect. Will we open again or not?
This is why we’ve decided, considering the situation, to reach out to
the members, reassure and cheer them up by opening a little earlier.”
Citing panic withdrawals as a reason, MMM Nigeria explained that
payments would take a few days, and called on the media to leave the
scheme alone.
“As of this notice, MMM resumes its usual operation. You can now
create your GH-requests. However, it’s obvious that panic will reign in
the first few days after the re-opening of the System. We’re likely to
be deluged by GH-requests.
“Therefore, we’re going to make gradual paybacks by setting internal
output limits. In other words, we will only pay a certain amount per
day. Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain
things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to
normal.
“We’re the ones setting the limits, so it’s completely under our
control, and we are not expecting any emergencies in principle. Have no
fear and go on about your business as usual.
“As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the
poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to
the members with small PH amounts.
“The richer can wait. Moreover, we’ve warned you repeatedly to only
provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if
these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can
wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it.
“This is the way it’s going to be. I’d like again to call on the
authorities and the mass media: Please, leave us alone! Have mercy on
people,” the statement read.

Bride calls out Makeup Artist, @DaveSucre, who dissapointed on her wedding day,to do makeup of @ABI_KD1
An angry bride has called out Make-up Artist Dave Sucre (right) for disappointing her
after she booked him six months before her wedding, for Gov. Ajimobi’s daughter.
“I booked
Dave Sucre in June 2016 for my wedding in January 2017. I booked the
full bridal package which includes traditional wedding makeup by Dave
(this I was informed included all day touch ups by Dave) and white
wedding makeup which includes a second look for my second outfit, makeup
for my mum and all day touch ups. In August 2016, I was in Nigeria and
had a makeup trial booked with Dave. I turned up at the scheduled time
and found he was not there and someone else had to do a makeup look for
me. If only I knew then how this man was.
“On the day of my
traditional wedding (Thursday 5th January), I got a car to bring Dave
and his staff over. When he arrived, he complained about being down with
malaria and an upset stomach and this and that. I got someone to bring
him food and just told him to take it easy as he was really playing the
“sick” role. He rushed my makeup and I didn’t like how it came out at
all and then he left immediately, before I even joined the ceremony. I
even encouraged him to go home and rest and sent him home with my driver
so that he would feel better by Saturday.
“As soon as I got outside,
my makeup was pouring down my face. Literally pouring. The makeup had no
staying power whatsoever and it was clearly not professional standard
at all. My friends rushed to get the girl Dave had left behind and she
said there was nothing she could do and they should “just dab it”.
Eventually, another makeup artist I had booked to do my sisters’ makeup
helped me out.
“My white wedding was the following Saturday. On Friday
(the day after my traditional), Dave insisted I pay him the balance of
the money to ensure he would show up the next day. I sent the money. By 7am
the morning of my wedding, Dave had not arrived and I had not heard
from him. I called his number and someone casually and unapologetically
told me that Dave would not be coming as he had taken ill and had been
rushed and admitted to a hospital. I was so shocked, I thought they were
joking. They hadn’t even bothered to call me to cancel, just left me
waiting the morning of my wedding.
“After my wedding, I was
discussing with a friend about how I needed to get a refund from Dave
because he had cancelled as he had been admitted to hospital. She asked
me what I was talking about, saying that Dave had been in Ghana since
Friday doing someone’s makeup for the Inaugural ball. He was on her
Snapchat and she even posted a photo on Instagram tagging him as her
makeup artist. You can imagine what it felt like hearing that. Baring in
mind that this wicked man and his team had not bothered once to call me
between the Saturday of my wedding and Monday
9th. I had to be the one calling them asking where my money was. AND
STILL they were maintaining the lie that he was in hospital.
“Dave Sucre came to my
traditional wedding laying the groundwork for his future lie about being
ill. He did horrible makeup for me and left immediately. He made me pay
him in full on Friday knowing he would not show up on Saturday.
Then he didn’t even have the decency to call me to cancel on the
morning of my wedding so I’d have some time to make other plans, he
waited until I called to find out why he hadn’t arrived before informing
me he won’t be coming. And I even called this man a couple of days
before my wedding to confirm everything was okay and if there was
anything he needed. These people are terrible.
“I’m sending this for any
bride thinking of booking Dave Sucre. DON’T. He is wicked. What he did
to me was wicked and I would not wish that on anyone. People deserve to
know the kind of shop he’s running before they fall victim too. And
apparently this man has done this same thing to another bride recently.
“I was very lucky I had
booked someone to do my sisters’ makeup and once again, she
‘nickkiwaks’ saved me from what would have been a disaster and would
have ruined my wedding day. @DaveSucre, I want a FULL refund not that
ridiculous sum you sent me. And please no one should book these people
ever again! They are terrible crooks who will probably take your money
and deliver no service. It is clear he has no morals and prefers to
chase big names rather than honour contracts that have been established
with him.
