Get lighter, brighter, healthier-looking skin.

Many people strive to attain lighter, brighter, healthier-looking skin. Learning to properly care for your skin on a day-to-day basis will help your skin stay light and tight. Here are few tips to follow!!! 1.WEAR SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY: If you want lighter skin, you have to care for it properly, using a sunscreen with a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) rating. When you expose your skin to UVA and UVB light, your body produces melanin which makes your skin appear darker. Sun exposure can wreak all sorts of havoc on your complexion, from freckles and brown spots to serious sunburns and skin cancer. Therefore, the number one most important thing you can do to lighten your skin is to wear sunscreen every day you'll be outdoors, even when it's not super-hot or sunny. You can also protect your skin by wearing light, long-sleeved clothing and by wearing a hat and sunglasses when you're in the sun for long periods of time. 2.THOROUGLY CLEANSE YOUR FACE TWICE A DAY: Wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. This removes dirt and oil, which is important for a healthy, clear complexion. 3.EXFOLIATE A COUPLE OF TIMES A WEEK: This is important as it removes the darker, dead skin cells and reveals the new, lighter skin beneath. Exfoliating once a week will remove dead skin cells to lighten and brighten your skin. Invest in purchasing a good scrub to remove dead skin cells. Or just make one yourself using honey, lemon, & sugar. It's edible... and it works incredibly!
4.MOISTURIZE WITH A PRODUCT SUITED TO YOUR SKIN TYPE: If you have oily or blemish prone skin, you should go for light lotions, while people with very dry skin should go for heavier creams. 5.DRINK MORE WATER AND FOLLOW A HEALTHY DIET: Drinking water and eating right won't magically make your skin lighter, but it will help skin to rejuvenate itself. When skin rejuvenates, the old, pigmented layers fade away and fresh, new skin is revealed, leaving your skin looking brighter and healthier. Drinking more water speeds up this process, so you try to drink between six and eight glasses a day. A good diet also helps to keep your skin looking fresh and healthy by providing it with the vitamins and nutrients it needs. Try to eat as much fresh fruit and vegetables as possible (especially those high in vitamins A, C and E) and stay away from processed, high-calorie foods. 6.YOU SHOULD ALSO CONSIDER TAKING A VITAMIN SUPPLEMENT: vitamin supplement containing ingredients such as Grapeseed Extract (which provides anti-oxidant benefits) and Flaxseed or Fish oil, both of which contain Omega-3 and are excellent for hair, skin and nails. 7.QUIT SMOKING: Everyone knows that smoking is bad for your health, but not everyone is aware of the damage it can do to your skin. Smoking contributes to premature aging, causing fine lines and wrinkles. It also prevents blood flow to the face, causing it to become ashen or grey-looking.

 Well wish no more because we are here to give some of a you  remedies and if your lucky could work for inner thighs as well, because these are caused due to friction and shaving:

1. Potato

The mild acidic property present in potatoes is a great natural bleaching agent. Unlike strong bleaching agents, it will not cause skin irritation.
  • Simply rub a thin slice of potato on your underarms.

  • You can also grate the potato and apply the juice to the affected area, allow it to dry for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Use either of these remedies twice daily for better and faster results.

2. Cucumber

Just like potatoes, cucumbers also have natural bleaching properties to help lighten discolored skin.
  • Simply rub a thin cucumber slice on your underarms or grate a cucumber and apply the juice under your arms. Do this once or twice daily until you are satisfied with the results.

  • Another option is to extract the juice from a cucumber and mix it with a little turmeric powder and lemon juice. Apply this paste on the affected area. Leave it on for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with water. Repeat this home remedy once daily or every other day for best results.

3. Lemon

Lemon works as a natural bleach and a powerful antibacterial and antiseptic agent. This is why lemon is used in the treatment of various skin-related problems including dark underarms. Lemon can dry out your skin, so apply a moisturizer after using these remedies if needed.
  • To remove dead skin cells and lighten your underarms, rub a lemon wedge on the skin for a few minutes. Leave the juice on your skin for about 10 minutes and then wash the area thoroughly. For better exfoliation, you can sprinkle a little sugar on the lemon wedge and then use it. Do this a few times a week.

  • Another option is to mix a little turmeric powder, honey or plain yogurt in some lemon juice and apply it to your underarms. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wash it off. Repeat three or four times a week.

4. Baking Soda

Baking soda can be used to make an exfoliating scrub to get rid of dark underarms. This will help remove dead skin cells, which is one of the main causes of dark underarms. It will also help unclog skin pores.
  • Mix baking soda and water to make a thick paste.

  • Use this paste to scrub your underarms.

  • Wash it off and pat dry the area thoroughly.

  • Repeat a few times a week.

You can also apply a light dusting of equal parts of baking soda and cornstarch to neutralize body odor.

5. Orange Peel

Orange peels can be used to lighten the skin under your arms, thanks to their skin lightening and exfoliating properties.
  • Put some orange peels in the sun for a few days until they dry out completely.

  • Grind the dried peels into powder form.

  • Mix two teaspoons of powdered orange peels with enough rose water and milk to make a thick paste.

  • Gently scrub your underarms with the paste and then leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Finally, wash the area with cold water.

  • Repeat the process two or three times a week.

6. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is another good option to get rid of dark underarms. Coconut oil contains vitamin E that can help lighten the underarms. At the same time, it will also work as an effective natural deodorant.
  • Massage the dark underarms with coconut oil.

  • Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Wash it off with mild soap and lukewarm water.

  • Repeat two or three times daily until you achieve the desired results.

DIY Eye Firming Cream Recipe

1/4 cup green tea 1 tbsp. rosehip seed oil 1 tbsp. sweet almond oil 1/4 tsp. vitamin E 1 tsp. emulsifying wax 1 drop carrot Seed essential Oil 3 drop lavender Essential Oil ****** Instructions: 1. Brew a cup of green tea. 2. Fill two medium sauce pans about half way full of water. 3. Place a glass bowl with a spout in each pot and turn on stove to medium heat. 4. Add wax, rosehip seed oil, vitamin E oil and sweet almond oil to one pot. 6. Heat both mixtures until the emulsifying wax has totally melted. 7. Check temperatures of both pots with a thermometer. **BOTH mixtures must be the same temp before you combine them or your cream won’t set.** 8. When both your oil mixture and water mixture reach around 130 degrees, pour your water mixture into your oil mixture. 9. Use a hand held blender and mix your cream. 10. Continue to mix periodically (every 10 minutes or so) until you notice that water is no longer separating on the bottom. This tends to take about 30 minutes to an hour. 11. Once fully mixed, add essential oils then pour into containers.

Pineapple

Pineapple is a remarkable fruit. We find it enjoyable because of its lush, sweet and exotic flavour, but it may also be one of the most healthful foods available today. We will find that pineapple is valuable for easing indigestion, arthritis or sinusitis. The juice has an anthelmintic effect; it helps get rid of intestinal worms.
Pineapple is high in manganese, a mineral that is critical to development of strong bones and connective tissue. A cup of fresh pineapple will give you nearly 75% of the recommended daily amount. It is particularly helpful to older adults, whose bones tend to become brittle with age. [Bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme, is the key to pineapple's value. Proteolytic means "breaks down protein", which is why pineapple is known to be a digestive aid. It helps the body digest proteins more efficiently. Pineapple is also known to discourage blood clot development. This makes it a valuable dietary addition for frequent fliers and others who may be at risk for blood clots. An old folk remedy for morning sickness is fresh pineapple juice. It really works! Fresh juice and some nuts first thing in the morning often make a difference. It's also good for a healthier mouth. The fresh juice discourages plaque growth.
