Peter Okoye, a well-known singer, faces criticism for boasting about his opulent home in the United States of America.

The musician posted a video of his home's inside on the microblogging service Twitter.

“Back home in Atlanta making breakfast 🍳 🏠😁🤗 it’s all about y’all for the next few weeks!” he wrote.

However, many denounced the behavior, calling it a classic "show off," and claimed that politicians would have committed the same crime.

“People like you insulting government officials for buying properties overseas, overseas medical tourism etc and are online talking rubbish are nothing different from the politicians. why don’t you buy properties in ala igbo where ESN will consume you,” a user wrote.

Peter Okoye slammed those shaming him while making clarifications on the intended use of the property.

“They use your hard earned tax payers money to buy houses abroad, train there children in the best school abroad. And even go for medical treatment abroad! You come here dey troll me we dey my house for abroad dey do world tour. You need serious deliverance🤣! Ode!🤣😂 #ShowOff,” he wrote in response.
