In a recent interview, Michelle Yeoh was frank about her groundbreaking career and the reasons she wasn't chosen for Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.

Speaking with the folks at Town & Country, the Everything Everywhere All at Once actress recalled how Tarantino convinced her to come out of retirement following a debilitating injury during the filming of a stunt for the movie The Stunt Woman.

She then went on to say that the accident left her in a brace, and if it wasn’t for him, she might not be acting today.

And asked why she wasn’t in Kill Bill, Yeoh replied, “I asked Quentin the same question. He’s very smart. He said, ‘Who would believe that Uma Thurman could kick your ass?’”
