Reno Omokri described Buhari as a semiliterate without a WAEC certificate in response to a tweet in which he was accused of hating the Nigerian leader because he lost his job.

“Rebuilding a supermarket is hard” – Spar Nigeria’s message after their megastore was vandalized

SPAR, one of Nigeria’s largest supermarket and department store brands , have put out a statement about their vandalized store.

Their Lekki store was vandalized by looters on October 21. They shared a statement on Twitter letting the public know and prayed for Nigeria, saying they stand with Nigeria.

According to the brand, building a supermarket is hard, but rebuilding a nation is even harder. Read below…

Recall that thugs on Wednesday stormed the Palace of the Oba of Lagos located at Iga Idugaran, Lagos Island, vandalising vehicles and carting away several artefacts.

Chiefs have frowned at and described the carting away of his instrument of office as a taboo and a desecration of the traditional institution of Lagos.

Frank Edoho has lambasted the vice president of Nigeria, Professor Osinbajo following his remarks on the Lekki shootings that left many injured.

Yemi Osinbajo wrote, “My heart goes out to all the victims of the Lekki shootings, and also the policemen and all other men and women who lost their lives in the past few days in different parts of Lagos & other states.”

In reaction to the vice president’s remarks, the ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ show host slammed Osinbajo for his silence on the protest until the massacre.

Reacting to the statement via Twitter, Frank Edoho quoted the VP’s tweet and wrote, “With your impeccable speaking talent you have managed to be quiet throughout the tragedies of #endsars only to mutter the words, My heart goes out. Your heart goes out. Your heart na lantern?

Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, allegedly jets out to London with family

Seyi, son of former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Thursday morning at about 1:53am flew out to London, in a private jet with some members of his family and a few others, SaharaReporters report.

According to the report, the emergency trip follows the  resentment in Lagos against his father, who has seen some of his known investments in Lagos and Abuja targeted and burnt by angry Nigerians over his perceived involvement in the deployment of soldiers, who killed peaceful protesters in the Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos on Tuesday night.

Recall that over 10 peaceful protesters were killed by soldiers in Tuesday’s massacre while demanding an end to police brutality and state repression.

An overwhelming majority of Lagos residents have accused the All Progressives Congress’ National Leader of being behind the incident, a claim he has denied.

 A Maza Maza warehouse in Lagos full of undistributed COVID-19 palliatives, most food items was discovered Thursday October 22 by local residents following recent riots in the state. Following the discovery of the pallatives , hoodlums broke into the facility, carting away the items which were labelled ‘CACOVID, NOT FOR SALE,’ include bags of rice, macaroni, spaghetti, salt, garri, sugar and cartons of noodles. CACOVID (Coalition Against COVID-19), launched in March this year, is a private sector-led organisation established to assist the government in combating the coronavirus disease.

The Grammy-winning artist turned 40 on October 13 and chose to celebrate the milestone while enjoying in the two-island state. The group stayed at the Hodges Bay Resort. I envisioned a day, when all young Nigerians, no matter their social class, education or tribe of origin, will be United with a common goal. Knowing that there are more young people in Nigeria than any other age group, it was clear to me that, the day the “ Tribe of Youth” emerges, with wisdom and right management they will be unstoppable in pushing for the Nigeria of their dream. It has been surreal for me to watch this past week emerge. I am overwhelmed by the thoughts of what this season represents for our nation if we manage it well. Many are praying across the land, including my friends and I, praying that the Lord will guide our leaders, encourage and guide our children, grant us all understanding and grace to make the most of this pivotal moment in our nation. That no one, who seeks to hijack this moment for evil will succeed. That lives of our children on the streets will be safe and no more blood will be shed.
Our children have shown us that “Though tribe and tongue may differ” whenever we stand together as a true tribe of “ Nigerians “ we are unstoppable. Let’s do it. It’s TIME!!

Machete wielding hoodlums attacked an Igbosere High Court in Obalende and allegedly carted away valuables.

The attack on Igbosere High Court, Obalende took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

This is coming after reprisal attacks and mob activities were reported in different parts of Lagos state and Nigeria today following the shooting and killing of Unarmed #EndSars protesters by Nigerian Army soldiers in Lekki Toll Gate on Tuesday night, October 20.

The Lekki killings have now attracted condemnations from local and foreign scenes.

In a video now trending on social media, one of the thugs could be seen dressed in a judge’s robe and wig, wielding a machete.

Online sources have it that after looting the court, the hoodlums set the court building on fire.

Seyi Tinubu Explains Why They Switched Off The Billboard, Says They Have Always Been In Support Of The #EndSARS Movement

Earlier investigations into the Lekki Toll Massacre which happened on Tuesday 21, October 2020 showed that son of popular Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu was responsible for turning off the lights in the area causing a total blackout. Following the confirmations, LoatsAD media which is owned by Seyi has come out to explain his actions via a press statement.

 According to the released statement, they had been ordered to turn off the billboard because of the curfew request from the governor. They also made mention that they did not know that things would turn out worse, adding that at exactly 3pm, they let off all their workers due to the imposed curfew before proceeding to switch off the billboard. They however emphasized that they had been in full support of the EndSARS since the very beginning and had even used their platforms to promote the messages.

EndSARS protesters have marched en masse to the Bourdillon residence ,Ikoyi of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the acclaimed national leader of the APC.

The protesters took over the politician’s property as they chant in pidgin English, “dem go kill us tire, how many people soldier go kill,” in retaliation to the mass shooting at the Lekki tollgate area of Lagos state on Tuesday that left many citizens injured.
