Earlier investigations into the Lekki Toll Massacre which happened on Tuesday 21, October 2020 showed that son of popular Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu was responsible for turning off the lights in the area causing a total blackout.
Following the confirmations, LoatsAD media which is owned by Seyi has come out to explain his actions via a press statement.
According to the released statement, they had been ordered to turn off the billboard because of the curfew request from the governor.
They also made mention that they did not know that things would turn out worse, adding that at exactly 3pm, they let off all their workers due to the imposed curfew before proceeding to switch off the billboard.
They however emphasized that they had been in full support of the EndSARS since the very beginning and had even used their platforms to promote the messages.
