Ashanti , seemed to have had the time of her life during her most recent trip to Antigua.
The Grammy-winning artist turned 40 on October 13 and chose to celebrate the milestone while enjoying in the two-island state. She commemorated the milestone in fine style with relatives and some of her closest friends.
Rapper Flo Rida was among those who journeyed to Antigua for Ashanti's birthday festivities.
The group stayed at the Hodges Bay Resort.
According to owner Jeff Wellemeyer, since news of Ashanti's stay was made public, 3 other celebrities have also announced plans to travel to Antigua and Barbuda and have made arrangements to stay at Hodges Bay.
Wellemeyer said the Sayless crooner recorded scenes for an upcoming music video during her recent vacation in Antigua.
