The Anambra state has launched a committee to take care of the menace of cattle and the herdsmen.

It is not yet known the shape of the control to be put against the Fulanis and the menace they cause with their cattle.

Herdsmen have posed very serious menace over the years. And many have called for them to be proscribed as terrorists but such calls have fallen on deaf ears.

The Kenyan Police have arrested 33 Nigerians for illegal migration, while pursuing leads on an incident in which drugs are being sent from Nairobi to others parts of the world. The 33 Nigerians who were arrested by the Kenyan Police on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Kasarani, had allegedly been posing illegally as students of International University-Africa (USIU) and Kenyatta University (KU). .
The Cable reported that the Commanding Officer in charge of sub-counties in Kasarani, Peter Kimani said the suspects were arrested by anti-narcotics detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) who were pursuing leads on an incident in which drugs are being sent from Nairobi to others parts of the world.

Saraki Releases Details Of National Assembly 2018 Budget To The Public

 Dr.Bukola Saraki has released  the national assembly 2018 budget.
The details of the budget was released on Friday by the office of the senate president through a tweet.
The budget has a total sum of N139 billion, of which N35 billion was the total for the senate, while the house of representatives had N57 billion.
While legislative aides got N10 billion, the national assembly office and commission got N15 billion and N2 billion respectively.
The national assembly legislative institute got N4 billion while N1.1 billion was appropriated for service wide vote of the legislature.
The public accounts committee (PAC) of the senate and the house got N118 million and N142 million respectively. N12.3 billion was earmarked for “general services.”

 Ikechukwu has warned of what will happen if ever SARS officials ever try to harass him the way they harass other citizens.

Ikechukwu Onunaku shared a  video of SARS officials harassing and beating a man because he refused to let them search his phone  .

He then condemned the officers for terrorizing citizens, rather than protect and serve them.

He wrote that the day a SARS officer tries to attack him, he might end up dying because he will "disarm that fool and shoot him with his own gun."

Zone 2 CSP, Dolapo Badmus, Ten Others Redeployed

#jaiyeorie The Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 2 Command, Onikan ,Lagos, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Dolapo Badmus has been redeployed to the Provost Department of the Force Headquarters Abuja .

Also redeployed to various departments were 10 other senior police officers.

The IGP has ordered the officers to resume duty in their new posting with immediate effect as their transfer has been back dated to March 2019.


A letter from the Police Service Commission ( PSC) signed by Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Alkali Baba Usman for the IGP ,stated that Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Salisu Gawuna with Force number 5733 has been transferred from Niger State to Kastina State while Force number 87058 CSP Dolapo Badmus has been moved from the Zone 2 police Command , Lagos to the Provosts department of Force Headquarters ,Abuja.

Other senior officers were also transferred from one state to the other.

AIG Usman advised that the officers should as a matter of urgency resume accordingly in their new posting.

Nigerian-born female boxer, Helen Joseph, popularly known as “The Iron Lady” has challenged her counterparts in the United States to a fight, saying she is ready to knock out her competition.


The former IBF champion in the featherweight division said during a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Consul General in New York, Mr Benayaogha Okoyen, that she wanted to put Nigeria on the world female boxing map.




Joseph nicknamed “The Princess of Africa” in her boxing world, had three different boxing titles: the WBF, IBF, GBU but she confessed her opponents were afraid to come out to fight her.
She ranks among the top in the world of female boxing and has five weight classes – flyweight 115, bantamweight 118, superbantam 112, featherweight 116 and any other super featherweight 129.
“In these categories, all these female boxers are running, they don’t want to fight me. When I was back in Africa, they were reigning all over the U.S. and they were unbeatable.
“But ‘The Iron Lady’ has arrived and everybody has run away, nobody wants to fight. I mean I’m knocking on their doors and they don’t want to come out. What’s wrong with you girls?
“So all these while you have been fighting cheap opponents, now that I have arrived, nobody wants to show face,” Joseph said.

Nigerian Breweries Raises N15bn To Support Short-term Funding

Nigerian Breweries Plc is seeking to raise up to N15 billion in the first and second series of its N100 billion commercial paper (CP) programme to support its short-term funding. The Series 1, which is for 90 days,has an effective yield of 11.59 per cent and will mature on July 22, 2019. On the other hand, the Series 2, which is for 182 days, has an effective yield of 14.43 per cent. It will mature on October 22, 2019. Mampintsha’s management intends to file a R10 million lawsuit against Apple Music/iTunes after the star’s music was allegedly “removed” from the platform amidst assault allegations against him

Drum magazine reported on Thursday that Mampintsha’s manager, Lindo Buthelezi aka Dogg DBN alleged that the music platform allegedly didn’t follow the proper procedure before removing the star’s music.

News Israel’s Spacecraft Crashes During Moon Landing

                         

Israel’s mission to the Moon has crashed on the lunar surface after the apparent failure of its main engine. 

The Israeli spacecraft – called Beresheet – attempted a soft landing, but suffered technical problems as it aims to land on the moon.
The mission was to take pictures and conduct experiments on the surface of the moon.
Israel had hoped to become only the fourth country to land a spacecraft on the Moon.
The other three countries are the US, Soviet Union and China.

Dalai Lama hospitalised With Chest Infection

The Dalai Lama has been hospitalized with a chest infection, but is in a stable condition, his aides said Tuesday.

After the 83-year-old Tibetan Buddhist monk returned to his home of Dharamsala in the Himalayas, he is reported to have felt a pain in the chest.

“He was brought to Delhi for check up. The doctors said he had some sort of a chest infection. He is fine and stable. He’ll be treated for two more days,” one of his aide said.

The Dalai Lama has been in exile for 60 years after an unsuccessful revolt following the arrival of Chinese troops in Tibet.

He has since been in India.

A German court has fined Barcelona and French striker, Ousmane Dembele 10,000 euros ($11,200) on Monday for leaving the house he rented when at Borussia Dortmund littered with rubbish.
The landlord, Gerd Weissenberg who took the Frenchman to court told German newspaper Bild that “The house was a dustbin,”
Rubbish “was in every room”, he added.
