Aevin is the holder of Guinness World Records for women with the Largest Afric in 4 cents 7inches in perimeter. Aevin's natural hair journey began when he saw a picture of her mother wearing an Afro in the sixties and she really did. She then decided to make the big press and since then has spent over 14 years raising her hair. Today, her hair is inspirational to women's legions to throw chemical drinks and go naturally. Such hair dressing is not without its own challenges, especially in the days of washing. For Aevin, it may take two days for washing and drying hair. To get her hair ready for a night out, she uses up to five conditioners and then knit her hair in French braids. Since then, it takes about two days to dry. Aevin's decision to wear her natural hair was made when natural hair dress was considered not attractive to the black community but is now seen as a hero especially in her hometown of Napoleonville, Louisiana, where all of her little ones to grandparents follow her footsteps. Her greatest joy is for young girls to appreciate her hair and then want to wear their hair like that.
