Chinese Man Gets Knocked Out After Calling Kenyan Man A Monkey

A Chinese man insulted a Kenyan man in his own soil, by calling him a monkey and got beat .

The Chinese, called a Kenyan man twice his size “Nugu” which means monkey.

They were at a supermarket but that didn’t stop the Kenyan man from taking laws into his hands.

The Kenyan man dragged the racist Chinese away from the counter to a less crowded place and delivered a slap. As he tried to deliver another, others intervened.

Nicklas Bendtner Sentenced To Prison For Breaking The Jaw Of Taxi Driver

  Former Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner, has been sentenced to prison in Denmark after he reportedly brokethe jaw of a taxi driver over £5 fare during night out in Copenhagen.

 

Former Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner has been sentenced to 50 days in jail after being convicted of assaulting a taxi driver, Dailymail reports.

The Denmark international, who is now with Norwegian club Rosenborg, broke the jaw of the taxi driver following a night out in Copenhagen back in September.

A court in Copenhagen watched a video of the incident filmed from inside the cab. Bendtner, 30, will appeal the sentence having previously apologised.

Bendner was charged with beating and kicking the cab driver in the 2.41am incident on September 9 after he and girlfriend Philine Roepstorff had been at the exclusive nightclub Lusso.

Having quarrelled over the £4.80 fare, Bendtner punched the driver in the jaw before kicking him as he lay on the ground.

The argument started when Bendtner, who admitted he had been drinking, told the driver to ‘keep left’ only for him to turn left.

As tensions escalated, Bendtner claimed he felt threatened and left the taxi for his own safety.

The pair then squared up on the pavement, with Bendtner claiming he hit out in self-defence when the driver moved towards him.

Bendtner admitted hitting the driver but claimed it was in self-defence after the argument over the fare led to the driver throwing a can or bottle in his direction.

Bendtner has been handed an unconditional sentence and told to pay the driver £1,330 in compensation.

The cab driver was acquitted of violence but fined £355 for using his telephone while driving and not wearing his seat belt.

Speaking about the incident three days after it happened, Bendtner told a press conference: ‘I was involved in an extremely unfortunate episode.

 

‘I could not imagine it would develop as it did, and of course I’m extremely sad that the outcome became as unfortunate as it did.

 

‘To Rosenborg fans and audiences, I regret that this has happened. I’m sorry with all my heart that we are standing here today.

 

‘To my dear teammates, I regret that this will steal focus in an important time. I thank you for your understanding. I have never been a fighter but I protect those I love on and off the pitch.’

I Became Poor To Establish University – Afe Babalola

Chief Afe Babalola has said that he sold his properties in Ibadan, Lagos, Abuja and London as well as emptied his bank account to establish the Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD).

 The founder of ABUAD stated this at the weekend during the closing ceremony of the 2018 Afe Babalola University Agriculture Expo (ABUA-EX) where 48 farmers across the 16 councils of the state received N6 million from the legal icon to expand the scope of farming.




“It is imperative that we revive agriculture to ensure that Nigeria regains its lost glory in that all-important realm and in the overall interest of the people, as any nation that pays little or no attention to agriculture does so at its own peril of becoming a beggarly nation.
“When I started, virtually all the courses were subscribed to by admission-seekers, with the exemption of agriculture.
“Even the second year, we had less than 10 students and then thought of how to give incentives to our youths. This made me to reduce the tuition fee by 50 per cent; and if you graduate with good grades in the College of Agriculture, you will get N250,000 to go into farming, because I believe in the slogan ‘no farmers, no nation’.
“Before I established this school, I emptied my banks after selling off my property in Ibadan, Lagos, Abuja and London. But I am happy today that all stakeholders had described this university as the fastest growing in Africa.

15 dead after bus plunges into river as woman fights driver

A 8 second surveillance video released by Chongqing city police on its Weibo social media account shows the two people arguing and grappling with each other in the moments before the bus suddenly veered across oncoming traffic and off the bridge Sunday morning.

A statement from Wanzhou district police said the 48-year-old female passenger asked the driver to pull over after she missed her stop, but he didn’t. She walked up to the driver’s seat and scolded him. The driver turned his head back several times arguing.

Rescuers recovered the wreck of the bus Wednesday night. The official Xinhua News Agency said Friday that 13 bodies had been retrieved from the river and two others were still missing. No one is believed to have survived.

The Reuters news agency cites state radio as quoting rescuers saying the bus wound up some 262 feet underwater.

 Ellen DeGeneres has donated $100,000 to Emeka Nnaka, a paralysed Nigerian-American footballer.
Nnaka, 30, born of Nigerian descent, but raised in Macon, Georgia had a footballer accident nine years ago at 21 and his friends had been trying to raise the amount with a GoFundMe account.

The TV host said during her show that she wanted to surprise him for his good deeds and dedication towards helping others, in which over 50 persons had written letters to her describing how “incredible’’ he was.
Nnaka, since his accident nine years ago had been engaged in helping others, especially at-risk youth in his community.

The footballer had an accident, while playing for a semi-pro football team and tackled an opponent during a game in Arkansas.

3 Madonna University students burnt as 2 buses conveying students tumble

Two buses conveying Madonna University students from Jalingo to the Southeastern part of Nigeria were involved in a fatal accident that left three students burnt to death.

 

A student who survived wrote on Facebook:

One of my buses we chattered from Taraba state, containing only Madonna students (we chartered 2 buses) had an accident today around 6:PM, the bus somersaulted and caught fire immediately, the bus burnt beyond recognition, student were burnt inside the bus alive. 3 students were burnt to death beyond recognition (2 girls, 1 boy), 3 students managed to come out, but 1 broke her leg and head.
They were immediately rushed to the hospital (and they are all unconscious).
The buses contained 12 students (6 students in each bus, containing the driver, 7 people). It all happened in Ebonyi State, Abakiliki. (I don’t know the state of the driver, whether he survived or not.).
Currently I am in one police station in Abakalili, can’t travel again this night, I was actually in the bus in the beginning but later I changed to the other bus. (Thank God.) 5 girls and I’m the only boy in the second bus. We are all madonna students)

Funeral Of Leicester City Chairman Gets Underway With Buddhist Prayers In Bangkok Temple

 

The funeral of Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is getting underway in his native Thailand with prayers at temple in Bangkok followed by Buddhist bathing rituals.

The popular businessman was killed along with four other people when his helicopter crashed and burst into flames shortly after taking from the club's King Power Stadium last Saturday evening.

His death sparked an outpouring of grief in Leicester with thousands of floral tributes being placed outside the stadium and a book of condolence opened to honour the club chairman whose generosity touched the lives of so many in the city.

In keeping with Thai tradition, the funeral is expected to last a week.


Leicester players including striker Jamie Vardy, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and captain Wes Morgan are due to fly to Thailand to support their chairman's family after Leicesters match in Cardiff this afternoon.

It will be their first match since the tragedy and is expected to be an emotional occasion for the players who were close to Mr Srivaddhanaprabha.

Manager Claude Puel said the players made the decision to go ahead with the Premier League match but said the result is not important - what matters is that they honour Mr Srivaddhanaprabha's memory.

He said: "Playing football has not been at front of our minds this week.

"But for this weekend, and all the matches thereafter, we play to honour a man who did so much for our club.”

Mr Srivaddhanaprabha was killed along with 2 of his staff members, Nusara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare and pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz, when the helicopter crashed into a carpark outside the stadium.

Kalu Undergoes Operation In Germany- Wife, Aide

A former governor of Abia State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has been hospitalised in Germany. This is according to his media aide, Kunle Oyewunmi, in a press statement.

According to Kunle, Kalu flew to Germany with his wife, Ifunanya. Kunle said upon arrival in Germany, Kalu was rushed in an ambulance to Helios Klinik, Wiesbaden, where he was immediately wheeled into the surgical theatre.

He quoted Ifunanya as saying that the surgery was successful, adding that he had regained consciousness.

“Although the surgery was successful, my husband will still have to be monitored closely by a medical team for at least four months in order to prevent complications. His condition is improving gradually. He will be fine, if he is able to keep to his doctor’s advice. We appreciate the prayers and kind words from friends, associates, well-wishers and Nigerians in general,” Oyewunmi quoted Ifunanya to have said.

Man who dived into Lagoon was a staff of FRCN

The man who jumped into the Lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos  has been identified as a staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).


According to new reports, the deceased reporter was said to have pretended as if he wanted to urinate after getting off a commercial bus, and immediately dived into the lagoon. He was in the bus with his colleagues.

Read a note a secondary school student wrote to Queen Ola of Oyo

Queen Ola of Oyo visited her Alma mater, St. Bernadine Girls Grammar school, Oyo, to give a talk on sex education.
The students of the school wrote down their questions in a piece of paper and pass it across.
Astudent revealed in her note that she's a victim of sexual abuse.
Her note reads:

I am having sexual abuse with my neighbour and I have reported to my parents and they didn't believe. What can I do?

Queen Ola said the note moved her to tears....

"rapists don't eat a*** like that" - Remy Ma under fire for suggesting R.Kelly is not guilty of sexual assault

Pregnant Remy Ma commented on allegations that R Kelly sexually assaulted underage girls and brainwashed them. She said she was not convinced that R Kelly sexually assaulted anyone and she gave her reasons.

In the recent episode of the web series State of The Culture, Remy said that rapists are only there for their pleasure and do "not eat a**" to give the woman pleasure, therefore, the act between R Kelly and those girls wasn't rape but consensual sex.

 

She  said that the girls who R Kelly keeps in a house are not complaining instead it was their parents going to the media to report, so this means they are happy where they are. On the age of the girls, Remy pointed out that there are 16-year-old who are attracted to 30-year-olds so it isn't unusual for underage girls to want R Kelly.


She added that R Kelly got acquitted but still get banished and treated like he's a monster. She added that she's cautious of using certain words because innocent people can get convicted and acquitted people can be accused of something else and people will believe it.


Her comments were considered outrageous and she's been called out on social media.

Bill Gates cancels $5m aid to Saudi charity following the gruesome murder of journalist, Jamal Khashoggi

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have decided to cancel $5 million pledge to the MiSk Foundation, a Saudi charity headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. 
“Jamal Khashoggi’s abduction and murder is extremely troubling. We are observing current events with concern,” the foundation said in a statement. 
Khashoggi, a Saudi national and columnist for The Washington Post, was killed on October 2nd inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. After weeks of denying involvement, the Kingdom admitted he had been killed at the consulate and that it was premeditated.

The cutting of aid by Gates Foundation came amidst reports that Crown Prince Salman had disparaged Khashoggi as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, in talks with US officials, after the journalist’s murder.
