The French opulent fashion house Dior has signed a campaign deal with Chimamanda Adichie.


Maria Grazia Chiuri, the brand's creative director, has chosen the renowned Nigerian author to star in the Dior Lady 9522 handbag campaign.


In the first chapter of the campaign, Chimamanda is highlighted with other exceptional women from the fields of fashion, film, literature, sports, music, and art.

Following months of rumors, the "Snowfall" actor and the model made their relationship on Instagram official on January 12th.


In addition to a picture of Lori alone, Damson Idris shared two adorable pictures of himself and his new girlfriend on his Instagram stories.

Snowfall actor Damson posted a photo of the pair on his Instagram Story today showing him planting a kiss on Lori’s cheek.

“Happy Birthday Nunu,” Damson captioned the image in honour of Lori’s 26th birthday, alongside a red love heart emoji.

It seems the British star has already coined a nickname for his new girlfriend!

In December last year, influencer Lori’s dating life kickstarted the rumour  after she was spotted on a dinner date with Damson in West Hollywood.

The couple then went on to attend a friend’s birthday party later that evening, where they walked out together.

Lori’s last relationship was with actor Michael B. Jordan, before the pair split in early June 2022 after a year of dating.

Lori previously dated rapper Future for around 6 months at the beginning of 2020. She once dated singer Trey Songz, and was also linked to rap mogul Diddy.

She was briefly engaged to football player Memphis Depay in 2017.

World’s richest man Arnault appoints daughter to head Dior

The head of LVMH and the richest man in the world, Bernard Arnault, named his daughter Delphine Arnault to lead the fashion business Dior.

 

According to the BBC on Thursday, as part of a reorganization at LVMH, Europe's most valuable firm, Arnault moved his 47-year-old daughter to the new position.The corporation, which is valued at nearly £336 billion, controls a portfolio of luxury brands, including Fendi and Louis Vuitton.Michael Burke, the longtime CEO of Louis Vuitton, will be replaced by Pietro Beccari, the departing leader of Dior

Both Arnault and Beccari “are well respected”, so these are “logical promotions within the group,” said Credit Suisse analyst Natasha Brilliant.

BBC said all five of Arnault’s children hold management positions at brands in the group.

The changes, which come into effect in February, follow the recent appointment of Antoine Arnault, the eldest son, to head the family’s holding company.

Also, the 30-year-old Alexandre Arnault is in charge of products and communication at Tiffany, while Frederic Arnault, 28, is the chief executive of another group brand, Tag Heuer.

The youngest child, Jean Arnault, 24, overseas marketing and product development for Louis Vuitton’s watches division.

Arnault’s companies sell goods including luxury suitcases by Louis Vuitton and Moet and Chandon champagne.

“Succession planning in strategic roles has been instrumental to the success of LVMH’s key brands over the past 20 years, hence today’s moves are significant,” said Thomas Chauvet, an analyst at Citi.

Christian Dior is the brand of LVMH that sells only shoes and clothing that can only be bought in Dior stores.

Christian Dior’s catwalk presentations in Paris are attended by global celebrities including K-pop star Jisoo and singer Rihanna, drawing enthusiastic crowds of fans.

One of the most well-known individuals in hip-hop culture is Joe Budden.
While he was active, he was never nearly the most well-known rapper in the industry, but he was an important Slaughterhouse member.
"Pump It Up," his 2003 hit, is unquestionably his most popular song to date.


Rage & The Machine, his final full-length release from 2016, marked his exit from the rap scene in 2018.
Since that time, Budden has been a consistently successful broadcaster across a variety of platforms.
Nevertheless, the 42-year-old is still relevant in society today.

ABC‘s sitcom show, Abbot Elementary, shouts out the “Pump It Up” rapper in a bit from one of their recent episodes, “Read-A-Thon.”

The scene showcases one of the show’s students educating his teacher on who Joe Budden is while in the school’s new podcasting club. The teacher, who’s played by Chris Perfetti, brings up “the podfather.” “Oh, you mean Joe Budden,” the student replies. “I think he pronounces it Biden, but we will work on diction when the mics are hot,” says Mr. Hill in response.

The kid subsequently reveals that it’s shocking he’s never heard of the former Slaughterhouse rapper. He plays the prof a clip from The Joe Budden Podcast, but Mr. Hill is appalled by the explicit language.

“Joe is a star. It’s ok to admit. He made broadcasting cool. We changed the game forever. #AbbottElementary,” says Budden’s manager, Ian Schwartzman in a tweet.

One fan took to their Twitter account to publicly acknowledge the show’s mention of Budden. “Not the Podfather @JoeBudden on Abbot Elementary,” writes the fan, along with a couple of emojis crying with laughter. “Nah don’t gas me.. i love that show lol,” the 42-year-old replies back. Evidently, he’s loving the shout-out.

During his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes for the Cecil B. DeMille Award, Eddie Murphy provided some wise counsel for aspiring professionals in the field.

“I want to let you know that there is a definitive blueprint that you can follow to achieve success, prosperity, longevity and peace of mind,” Murphy said at the end of his speech. “It’s a blueprint, and I’ve followed it my whole career. It’s very simple, just do these three things: pay your taxes, mind your business and keep Will Smith’s wife’s name out of your fucking mouth!”

The joke — which, of course, referenced the infamous moment at last year’s Oscars when Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock for making a jab at Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia — resulted in rapturous, shocked laughter from the audience.

The Cecil B. DeMille award, which has been given to standout filmmakers and performers in the entertainment industry since 1952, was presented to Murphy by Tracy Morgan and Jamie Lee Curtis. Murphy starred with Morgan in the original “Coming to America” and its 2021 sequel, and worked with Curtis on “Trading Places” in 1983.

'Black Panther 3' Already In The Works, According To Letitia Wright

Letitia Wright spoke to Variety during the Official Digital Pre-Show at the Golden Globes and discussed the anticipated third chapter of the “Black Panther” saga.

Wright spoke with Variety chief correspondent Elizabeth Wagmeister, who asked, “When are we going to get ‘Black Panther 3’ greenlit?”

“I think it’s already in the works,” Wright replied. “You know, we just had a terrific two years of bringing it out and everybody coming together to support it. We need a little bit of a break, we need to regroup and [director] Ryan [Coogler] needs to get back into the lab, so it’s going to take a little while, but we’re really excited for you guys to see that.”

When pressed for more, Wright said, “I always try to do positive words and positive thinking, and I believe that good words manifest, so I’m manifesting a ‘Black Panther 3,’ why not?”

For Variety‘s November 2022 cover story about “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Coogler and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige spoke about a potential third chapter. At the time, Coogler said that he “definitively” had “no idea what I’m doing next as a writer and director.”

But Feige said he had been having “conversations” with Coogler about a third “Black Panther” movie, with “ideas pitched back and forth.”

When asked whether he would ever consider making a “Black Panther” movie without Coogler, Feige demurred and referenced the death of “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman.

“I go back to what I said when we decided to make ‘Wakanda Forever’ after losing Chad,” he said. “This mythology and this ensemble and these characters deserve to continue and will continue after all of us are gone, I hope, and will continue forever in movies the way it has in comics for 50-plus years.”

Feige added, however, that working without Coogler “wouldn’t be the preference.”

When reached by Variety, a representative for Marvel Studios declined to comment further.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has made $831 million worldwide since its Nov. 11 release date.

During their conversation, they discussed the passing of Princess Diana, his conflict with his brother, Prince William, and the animosity that his wife, Meghan Markle, has sparked among the royal family.


Cooper acknowledged at the end of the interview that "60 Minutes" had contacted the palace for response.

50 Cent says Eminem turned down on $9 million collaboration to perform at the World Cup in Qatar

Organizers were willing to pay $9 million for 50 Cent and Eminem to perform together at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but Eminem declined the offer, according to 50 Cent.




Rapper Eminem, 50, turned down the offer, the 47-year-old rapper claimed while making an appearance on Big Boy's Neighborhood on Real 92.3. 

 

The If I Can't rapper said that officials in Qatar were hoping to hire the pair after their involvement in the lauded Super Bowl halftime show last year in Los Angeles, which also featured Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Anderson .Paak.

 

'Because of the Super Bowl, I got an inquiry about World Cup and they had a budget of $9 million,' said the rap artist, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, adding that he 'would've taken' $1 million and the remaining $8 million 'would have been for' Eminem.

 

The Candy Shop artist said that he tried to negotiate the appearance with Eminem's camp to no avail: 'They're like, "He's not gonna do it."'

 

50 Cent said, 'If you would do a one-off show, maybe you would do the biggest live sporting event in the world.'

 

Recall, the competition held in Qatar drew a number of controversies, including the country's human rights records, discrimination against women and the LGBTQ community, and the deaths of migrant workers who built the stadiums in the competitions were held in.

Benny Hinn confesses deceiving His Members with False Teaching, Church Practices

A well-known Israeli Christian televangelist named Pastor Benny Hinn posted a video on Facebook in which he apologized to his followers for misinforming them on how to make money, sow seeds, and spread the gospel.
The pastor begs for everyone's forgiveness and claims that he doesn't want to be turned away from heaven on the last day.
Then he said that despite his best efforts, he had been unable to speak for a while.
In the video, Pastor Benny Hinn states,  “The body must be out of the way for people to get to Heaven on the last day.”

I regret to say that the prosperity movement has gotten a little out of control this time, and I would like to correct my own theology regarding prosperity gospels, sowing seeds, and profiting from the gospel.
Twenty years ago, when I first read the Bible, I didn't view it the same way I do today.

When we sell these things for money, we hurt the Holy Spirit. “I’m done with the prosperity gospel and making the gospel into a business,” he said. “This is the first time I’ve ever said this, and I don’t care what other people think of me anymore.” I know that many people won’t invite me anymore, but that’s okay with me. 

 

 

On the last day, I don’t want to be turned down. Don’t give if you’re not doing it because you love Jesus. “Giving makes me feel sick to my stomach, and now that I’m done with it, I don’t want to hear anything about planting seeds.” I’m sorry that I’ve been teaching wrong for so many years. Please forgive me and don’t listen to what I say about getting rich and planting seeds.

The primary suspect in the murder of LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba, Jackton Odhiambo, has admitted to killing him and dumping his body on the side of the road because of claims that he had an affair with him.
As husband and wife, they shared a home.
Jackton carried out the murder with the assistance of his two buddies, who are still at large, according to Langas OCPD John Odhiambo. 

The accused claimed that he killed Chiloba in retaliation for betraying him.
The primary suspect in the murder, Odhiambo, who had been living in Eldoret with the deceased for a year, was detained on Friday.
Alex Nyamwea, Chiloba's caretaker, claimed that on January 4, Odhiambo called him on Chiloba's phone to let him know he was leaving the home they shared.
And as he had promised, Odhiambo left the house right away.

 

 

 The police are investigating a possible love triangle after the main suspect Jackton Odhiambo confessed that he was driven to commit the murder after finding out Chiloba had another partner. Chiloba's body was discovered in a metallic box on Kipenyo-Katinga Road in Uasin Gishu County by boda boda riders, who saw an unmarked vehicle dumping the box on the side of the road. Police are also looking for the vehicle used to ferry and dump the body. 🎥: @citizentvkenya
