Joeboy appreciates his former boss for taking a chance on him as he leaves him to start his own record label.
He recently announced his decision to leave his former label, Empawa to start his own label he called, Young Legend.
His new label would be partnering with Warner Group to give a platform to the next generation of music stars.
Despite his widely spread success, Joeboy remains ever grateful to his boss, Mr Eazi, for being an instrumental part of his music journey for the last five years.

Veteran artist Charly Boy has spoken about how he intervened in Eedris Abdulkareem’s clash with American rapper 50 Cent in 2004.
Charly Boy revealed on the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast that he was styling his hair when he received a call from Abdulkareem reporting that he was being manhandled by 50 Cent’s bouncers.
He stated that he stopped what he was doing and mobilized men on three thousand bikes to the Murtala Muhammed Airport, where Abdulkareem was.
When he arrived, he claimed to have been informed by Abdulkareem and proceeded to face 50 Cent. Charly Boy recalled:
“Back then, if I was walking past the motorcycle park and I waved my hand, all the motorcyclists would follow me. So, I stormed the airport with almost 3000 bikes.”
“On getting to the airport, I asked Eedris to tell me what happened and he said he was booked for a show alongside 50 Cent and he went to sit in the first class in the plane where the rapper was and his bouncers asked him to leave that the first class space wasn’t for Nigerian artists but he refused, then they beat him up.
“They also beat his bouncer who tried to rescue him from them. 50 Cent was aware of what happened. After Eedris narrated his ordeal, I asked where 50 Cent was and they pointed to an SUV. So I went into the SUV to confront him.
“Already, 50 Cent’s security team was seeing the tension around the airport with the bike men moving around. I was also very high that day. I said to 50 Cent, ‘You are the one beating my people in their own country? You came to Nigeria and you are beating my people.’”

Nigerian actor, Kanayo .O. Kanayo, advise parents against willfully ignoring the source of their children’s wealth without asking questions.
The legendary actor shared this in a program where he listed it as the cause of death of many parents.
He
claims that some children who have no reliable job will come back home
with expensive phones and cars and their parents won’t ask any
questions
Instead, some of those parents will go to church and give testimonies for their children’s new wealth.
He opined that as a parent, it is wrong to do so and instead the parents should make sure to not encourage such, but always condemn it if it’s illegal.

According to him, he got a revelation to pray for him back then, and he did exactly that, because President Tinubu had in the past helped him when he was sick.

In a now viral video, he said;
“I went to the beach n3ked to pray for Tinubu based on revelation. I did that as payback for Tinubu, my benefactor.”

“If you (Tinubu) fail to wake up to your responsibility, the curses I get daily you will also get. Had it been that things turned out good in the country since Tinubu assumed office, those insulting and cursing me would have stopped.”
The actor, who said Tinubu was trying to stabilise the economy, appealed to the president to set up a monitoring team to ensure his promises are delivered to citizens.
“Nigerians are crying. That’s why everyone is angry. Even Nigerians in the diaspora are not happy with the present situation in Nigeria. I want to talk to our father, Tinubu. Daddy, (Tinubu) Nigerians are not happy; they are crying. Their expectations are not met. I know you are trying. You need to appoint a monitoring team to ensure they deliver on your plans and promises to citizens,” the renowned actor stated.
Olaiya Igwe becomes the 2nd among celebrities who openly campaigned for Tinubu, lamenting economic hardship in the country.
Last week, Wasiu Ayinde, aka Kwam 1, also Tinubu’s praise singer during his campaign, cried out over economic hardship in the country.

Residents of Minna, the capital of Niger State, are currently out and protesting high costs of living which has suddenly hit the nation.
Youths and women are seen in the video shared on X, ranting during the protest.
The protesters have blocked major roads within the metropolis.
They are lamenting the rising cost of food items and poor government effort to arrest the situation, which, according to them, has forced them to block major roads so the government will hear their cry.

A childhood friend of Fireboy DML, has taken to social media to reminisce about their past and celebrate the singer’s birthday.
Identified as Bank Alat, the singer’s childhood friend fondly recalled their shared struggles, including drinking Garri together.
However, he expressed that as a friend, he deserved support from Fireboy, especially considering the singer’s success with hits like “Peru.”
Bank Alat lamented that since Fireboy rose to prominence, he felt abandoned, left to fend for himself while still grappling with difficulties.

Veteran singer and social activist, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has said that he engaged in scamming before 419 became popular in Nigeria
Advance fee fraud or “419 fraud”, is a scheme in which a sender requests help facilitating the illegal transfer of money, according to Wikipedia.
The scam typically involves promising the victim a significant share of a large sum of money, in return for a small up-front payment, which the fraudster claims will be used to obtain the large sum.
If a victim makes the payment, the fraudster either invents a series of further fees for the victim to pay or simply disappears.
Speaking in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, Charley Boy said he engaged in scamming banks before 419 became popular.
He also revealed that his dad, the late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa, damaged him through religion.
“I spoil from belle because at 16, I don born. My first son is almost 53. I was scamming banks even before una begin hear of 419, I don do small. My papa, when I dey small he damage me with religion and religiousity,” he said.

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has been reportedly cleared by the team’s medical doctor for the clash against South Africa
Osimhen missed the Super Eagles trip to Bouake – the venue of the semi-final clash with South Africa – after suffering abdominal discomfort.
It was said that the Napoli striker will be examined on Tuesday morning, and if cleared, will join the rest of the squad who have arrived safely in Bouake.
According to reports on Tuesday afternoon from sources in Abidjan, Osimhen is on his way to Bouake after being declared fit by the medical team.
Osimhen has started in all of Super Eagles’ five matches in Cote d’Ivoire, scoring one goal and chalking up one assist.

Buckingham Palace on Monday, February 5, announced that King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer and will now be postponing his public duties to receive treatment. The British King was diagnosed with cancer after receiving treatment for a benign prostate enlargement.
