SHOCKER!!!!!!!!!! Joyce Meyer is Considering Getting a Tattoo

A clip published by Joyce Meyer Ministries few weeks ago where the popular preacher defended tattoos, is now on the internet trend.

Joyce Meyer, in the 8-minute video from one of her sermons, began by explaining the difference between being holy and religious.
“Holiness is not legalism,” Meyer said, adding that holiness has become not drinking, not smoking, not dancing, not wearing makeup, not wearing jewelry, not having tattoos e.t.c and that these rules of religion are making a mess of what holiness truly is.
Defending the use of tattoos, Meyer quoted Isaiah 44:5 which said: “One will say, I am the Lord’s; and another will call himself by the name of Jacob; and another will write [even brand or tattoo] upon his hand, I am the Lord’s, and surname himself by the [honorable] name of Israel.”
She also quoted Leviticus 19:28 which she said has been misquoted and has been used as a reason to call tattoos a sin. The scripture says: “Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the LORD.”
Meyer added that “The Bible says in Isaiah 49 that God has a picture of you tattooed on the palm of His hand.”
She continued, saying: “I’m right on the verge of going and getting a tattoo,” she added, pointing to her shoulder blade and saying “Right back here, ‘I belong to the Lord’.”
“I thought I might as well just push all the religious people right off the cliff and just get it over with,” she added. “Why would I do that (get a tattoo)? Just to make religious demons mad, no other reason,” she said.
Meyer added:
I lived in so much bondage from legalism. Everything in legalism is about something you can not do. Let me tell you something — it is not boring to serve Christ, it is so much fun and there’s so much you can do and not only that, you can enjoy all of it!
Here’s the bottom line, it’s all about your motives and how you are doing things. We can’t look at the outside of somebody and decide for ourselves that they’re an evil person … That’s why so many people today don’t want anything to do with the church ’cause all they get is criticism and judgement.

''Don't allow yourself to be used again'' PDP tells Bola Tinubu

The Democratic People's Party (PDP) has warned the national leader of the Allied Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to stop playing the god, because Nigerians can decide the leadership that best suits their desires.   The party also advised Tinubu not to afford to be used a second time as he still bears much of the responsibility for the enthronement of this incompetent, dissident, nepotic and inherently corrupt administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, who has brought the nation to his knees in three years. Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP's national advertising secretary, said in a statement on Thursday that Asiwaju Tinubu's speech, rather than being a damage to the PDP, ultimately amplified the acceptance of President Buhari's failure and of the CPA administration. The party said that without listening to the promptings of any politician, Nigerians across the board took the liberty to accept the PDP excuses that were made patriotically in the general interest of the national healing, the reconciliation, unity and cohesion.
''The PDP watched with amusement as Asiwaju Tinubu struggled with words to appease President Buhari and give him assurances that he can win a second term election in the face of mass failure both in governance and in their discredited, rejected and troubled platform.  It was a direct admittance of failure and indictment on President Buhari’s administration, when Asiwaju pointedly told the President that the ship of the nation, under his (Buhari’s) watch, still needs to be rescued, almost three years down the line. It is tragic that Asiwaju had to tutor his visitor, who had no policy direction since his election in 2015, by engaging in a revision of the programmes and policies of the PDP, such as the leasing system, the mortgage and pension schemes which boosted the economy and directly impacted on the lives of Nigerians. More pathetic is the fact that the APC leader presented the PDP programmes as if he was introduc''ing novel ideas in the economy. This clearly stood with our position that the APC government is incompetent and lacking in ideas of how to move the nation forward. While we congratulate the Lagos Governor Emeritus on his birthday, the PDP considers it needful, to forewarn him to study the current ambience of Nigerian politics as it relates to the failures of the Buhari Presidency and the fact that the citizens have since rejected this Presidency and the APC, so that Asiwaju will not find himself swimming against the tide

''Don’t accept PDP’s apology'' Bola Tinubu tell Nigerians

The national leader of the Congress of Progressive Parties, APC, Bola Tinubu, asked Nigerians not to accept the apology issued by the opposition party a few days ago. The president of the national PDP, Uche Secondus at an event organized by the Nation Party, said that the party has seen all the mistakes made during his 16 years in power and that he would like to correct them if he were given the opportunity to come to power in 2019. Secondus appealed to Nigerians for the party to regain power in the 2019 elections. Reacting to apology, Bola Tinubu at the 66th anniversary symposium of President Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and many others, said Nigerians should not accept the excuses of oppositions. Tinubu compared the party's excuses to the case of a thief who is just begging because he was caught in the act.
''Dear Nigerians, do not take their apology. They lied. They falsified. They even changed figures. For 16 years, they made fake promises and gave us fake figures. And they said we should not talk about it. It is like saying after all they did wrong, do not look at me. Just steal your own. That we will not take it off the table…no matter how twisting the mind of PDP and their supporters may be, we will continue to talk about it because you wasted our resources. You did not do what you promised Nigerians, what you said you would do when you were in office. The market gave you the maximum and production was also at maximum.”
Continuing, the former Lagos state governor said
“President Buhari has changed the economy from the wrong direction to steer the ship back before the final crash because it was necessary. We have started the journey. And the voyage is on the voyage of hope and the voyage that we are reclaiming Nigeria. We are retooling Nigeria. We are reinventing Nigeria. We are redirecting Nigeria.”Räägi sõbrale... #AFRICA ... spill TEA ABOUT THE TOPIC ABOVE.... Easy on Shade #jaiyeorie

Princess Diana's relatives offer Meghan Markle her tiara to wear on royal wedding day

Princess Diana
The family of the late Princess Diana offers her daughter-in-law, Megan Markle, a sweet tribute to her day in honor of the late Princess of Wales. Princess Diana's family, the Spencers, gave Meghan Markle the opportunity to wear one of the late Princess's tiaras on her big day, which takes place on Saturday, May 19th.   This revelation was made by expert jeweler David Bader, who regularly deals with celebrity engagements and their diamond-encrusted weddings.

He told OK! Online: "In [wearing the Spencer tiara], Princess Diana broke with tradition, since the Spencer Tiara is not part of the Crown Jewel Collection.
"It is an amalgamation of heirloom diamond jewellry that was repurposed into a tiara by Princess Diana’s Spencer ancestors, an ‘outer-rim’ noble house that traces its ancestry to the Tudors.
"A Spencer Family member has made it known that the tiara is available to Ms. Markle for her wedding day should she choose to wear it.
"Wearing the Spencer Tiara on her big day would serve as a tribute to honour the memory of Prince Harry’s beloved and iconic mother, Princess Diana."
It has also been claimed by psychic twins Terry and Linda Jamison that Diana will be present at the wedding ceremony as a ghost. Both siblings claim they have the power to deliver messages by spirits who take control of their hands and scrawl comments down for them to deliver.
According to the Daily Star, they say Diana told them: "I will most definitely be present for Harry and Meghan's wedding.
"I was also there for William and Kate's wedding. It will be beautiful, like my own ceremony with a horse and carriage," ghost-Diana continued.
"I am around them all more than they realise."Räägi sõbrale... #AFRICA ... spill TEA ABOUT THE TOPIC ABOVE.... Easy on Shade #jaiyeorie

Tyra Banks admits she got a nose job early in her career

She made this reveation in her new memoir "Perfect is Boring". The book, written by the America's Next Top Model host and her mum Carolyn London, revealed a lot about Tyra's personal and professional life and it's set to be released on April 3.

In the memoir, Banks shares details about the early days of her career and the decision she made during that time to get a nose job.
She tells People: "I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching. I could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery. I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose."
Banks adds, "I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth."
She adds: "Natural beauty is unfair. I get really uncomfortable when women who are these natural beauties judge anybody who does anything to themselves."
The businesswoman also encourages women to stop judging and do whatever makes them feel best.
She said: "Fix it or flaunt it — I think women should be able to do both. There is a boundary line, either you're super natural or you live at the plastic surgeon. It's okay to hop back and forth over that line. You want a hair weave? Fine. You want permanent eyebrows? Fine. We as women need to stop judging."Räägi sõbrale... #AFRICA ... spill TEA ABOUT THE TOPIC ABOVE.... Easy on Shade #jaiyeorie

Johnson Adumike the General Manager of Eric Many reacted to the viral report describing it as 'fake' and 'childish'.

In a statement released by Johnson on behalf of Eric Many, 'at first glance, you'll realize that the Instagram page in question obviously belongs to a social media influencer. How else do you explain a page of someone in the entertainment industry with over 11k followers and 7 posts with no known affiliation. The Whatsapp chat that accompanied the story is also fake'.

The statement continues to say, 'what we (Eric Many) have done as a respected entertainment company is to put out fact with legal documents and backings, we will not be drawn into a childish charade and drag ourselves in the mud with whoever is behind this fake news. We maintain that we have no sex tape of Runtown and the alleged Whatsapp chat is fake. Here's President Buhari's 2018 Easter message to the Nations

Here

Fellow Compatriots,
I am indeed delighted to join our Christian brothers and sisters to commemorate this year’s Easter celebration.
We thank the Almighty God for granting us the opportunity to celebrate another Easter at a time of great promise and hope for our dear nation, despite the challenges we also have.
Easter, the season in which Christians mark the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, represents the triumph of good over evil; and life over death. It is also a time to show love, forgiveness, compassion and renewed hope in the Grace of God.
The Holy Scripture affirms that happiness and fulfilment in life do not flow from acquiring the best things in life, but in being richer in a relationship with God and fellow human beings.
Let us use the opportunity of this special season to deeply reflect on how every one of us can imbibe the profound teachings of Jesus Christ with renewed vigour.
In so doing and by placing the joy, comfort and happiness of others above ours, we will make a statement that vices such as, hate speech, bigotry, corruption, banditry and terrorism have no place in our nation. We must do all it takes to love our neighbours and display increased spirit of tolerance and accommodation.
I commend those who recognise and support our unwavering efforts to prevent the spread of conflicts in our communities; check wanton criminality and the taking of innocent lives; unite the country; and steer the ship of state to a steady path of economic growth, job creation and development.
While we enjoin law-abiding fellow compatriots to work for peace and social justice in our beloved country, let there be no doubt of our resolve to firmly resist others who may want to make cheap political capital out of current national security challenges.
Our programmes and policies in the last three years have resulted in bringing down the prices of staple crops; gradual improvement of road, rail and electricity infrastructure; and making Nigeria the preferred destination for investors. More than ever before, we are ready to consolidate on these gains and ensure that we improve the lot of our communities in the years ahead.
Thankfully, our Dapchi schoolgirls who were safely released recently after 30 agonizing days in the hands of their abductors, have been reunited with their families. I am very optimistic that all others, including the Chibok girls who are still in captivity will be safely released unconditionally to their families. I urge you to continue to pray for their safe return.
In the meantime, I have given clear instructions to our security agencies to prioritise safety in schools in areas where the humanitarian and security situation are still dire, in addition to ensuring adequate protection of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
As we approach the period of campaigns, I appeal to our political actors and other stakeholders to resist any act that could mar the integrity of our electoral process.
I am optimistic that with God on our side, the dark days of Nigeria’s elections being manipulated by violence and rigging by corrupt politicians and their agents are over. They are confined to the dustbin of history where they rightly belong. I remain committed to bequeathing a legacy of supremacy of the people’s will through the ballot box.
May this year’s Easter celebration bring us renewed hope and confidence as a great nation.

Muhammadu Buhari
President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
March 29, 2018.

BE INSPIRED: HealthPlus secures $18m Investment from Private Equity Firm Alta Semper

HealthPlus secures $18m Investment from Private Equity Firm Alta Semper
Nigerian brand HealthPlus, nameed West Africa’s leading retail pharmacy chain has partnered with London-based private equity manager Alta Semper Capital.
According to BusinessWire, “Under the terms of the agreement, Alta Semper is investing US$18 million into HealthPlus, which will enable the company to expand its retail footprint and enhance its competitive position.”
The partnership is Alta Semper’s first investment in Nigeria.

HealthPlus founded by Bukky George, a UNILAG 1st class grad and UK-trained pharmacist, in 1999, provides healthcare products such as prescription and over-the-counter medicines, nutritional supplements, natural remedies, home medical equipment, mobility aids and pharmacy services.

Commenting on the investment, George, who is HealthPlus’ CEO, said:
We believe Alta Semper is the right partner for our next stage of growth. Alta Semper’s focus on the healthcare sector, as well as its ability to invest patient and flexible capital, will allow us to grow strategically across Nigeria and further our mission to provide high quality and affordable healthcare products and services to a market that is large and growing. Our vision is to be Africa’s #1 for pharmacy, wellness and beauty. We believe we have found a partner who can help us achieve this goal over the coming years.
Managing Partner & CEO of Alta Semper Afsane Jetha said about the investment:
We are very excited about our partnership with HealthPlus, a remarkable example of a homegrown company that has become one of the largest specialty retailers in West Africa. We believe HealthPlus is well-positioned to take advantage of the grossly under-penetrated Nigerian pharmacy retail market and meet the growing demands of Nigerian consumers, as well as to expand regionally into neighbouring countries.
We believe that this is an opportune time to enter the Nigerian retail market and invest into a market-leading player such as HealthPlus, which presents a unique risk-adjusted entry strategy, given its existing size and geographic scope. We are looking forward to working closely with Bukky George and her team to further unlock the Company’s growth potential.Räägi sõbrale... #AFRICA ... spill TEA ABOUT THE TOPIC ABOVE.... Black-ish Yara Shahidi covers The New York Times Magazine Singapore

In the April issue of The New York Times Magazine Singapore, star of of hit series Black-ish and Grown-ish, Yara Shahidi, shares ambition for a more involved generation of potential voters, its own unique education within the film and television industry, and what it means to be defiantly and proudly undefined.
Read excerpts from her interview below:

On what it was like meeting and interacting with Michelle Obama: Meeting First Lady Michelle Obama and being able to speak with her was incredible. She’s always been an inspiration and role model of mine. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to work with her educational initiatives and whenever the White House called, I answered. She is not only a representation of grace under pressure, but so much more. She represents what it’s really like to revolutionise the position of First Lady, and to be a symbol for girls, especially young black girls, out there everywhere. She is the representation that we all needed and she really took it upon herself to create these initiatives, which make such an impact and continue to make such an impact.

On how she has managed to stay grounded: If anything, being a child actor was at least retrospectively quite a breeze because of my parents. My parents were very intentional, especially in my elementary and middle school years. I wasn’t really pulled out of school, there were a couple of times that I was homeschooled. It was a personal choice because I appreciated the academics in a certain programme, but I was still in school, had hobbies and all of that, and acting was something that I went off to do with my family. I still very much had these beautiful experiences associated with acting, of just growing up and so it never hindered me.

It wasn’t until “Black-ish” that major changes were made because I was in high school and high school was a little harder to balance. I ended up enrolling in a distance learning programme with The Dwight School. “Black-ish” was an adjustment, but it’s a beautiful environment and once we adjusted, it was really figuring out how to live in between takes. We have so much fun on set, but it’s still so integral and crucial that I had a life outside of work. My parents have always given me that and demonstrated that, and have always said that acting is something that we do, and it’s not who we are. That’s something that has really spoken to me because it’s about making sure that I allow my other interests to flourish so I never look back and say: “Well, if it wasn’t for this, I would have been doing XYZ.”

On if she is excited about college life, now that she’s experienced it somewhat as Zoey on “Grown-ish”: Yes, and no. I’m excited because being on “Grown-ish” and being on that set, I’ve made some pretty amazing friends, not just as Zoey but as Yara, which has been really special to me. I absolutely adore the people that I get to work with every day and if I can have that kind of relationship with anybody in college, really, I’ll feel like I’ve hit the jackpot.

Zoey’s college adventure, while it will most definitely not be mine, has paralleled my life in so many ways because Zoey getting to bond with her friends is me getting to bond with my cast and my friends. It really is kind of like college because we get to see each other every day. There are some weeks it feels like we’re living together because we’re on set for so long. If I get to be a part of that kind of relationship-building process in college, I’ll be so excited. I’m actually really excited about taking classes. I’m so excited about figuring out what I want to do and fine-tuning what my interests and what my concentration will be.

Dice Ailes covers Latest Issue of Vibe.NG Magazine

King of The New School! Dice Ailes covers New Issue of Vibe.NG Magazine
For Dice Ailes the year 2017 proved to be a good year. With singles like Ella & Otedola who gained massive airs by establishing him at the forefront of a genius revolution in Nigerian music. At the release of his first single in 2018 titled Mr Biggs, Dice Wings covers the latest issue of Vibe.NG magazine by unveiling quite a few things about him and his music. Speaking to Michael Eno, Dice reveals how he joined Chocolate City, his favorite of all his songs, and how he was almost kidnapped a few months ago.
Read excerpts below:
On how his parents reacted to his decision to pursue music:
My Dad wasn’t okay with the idea of me doing music, ‘cos he wanted me to study medicine. My mum didn’t really mind, in fact, she used to give me money for studio sessions then. However, I first had to prove to her that I really wanted to do music. So I saved up some money and recorded a few songs for her to listen to. It was then she knew I was serious about it and she started giving me money for studio sessions.
On getting recognition from Femi Otedola after dropping the song named after him:
Yea, Cuppy and I are really close now and Femi Otedola is a fan of the song. I met him after I released the track and he told me he was a huge fan of the song. Every time I speak to Mr Femi on the phone, he always goes “Otedola with the money o” which I find very funny.
King of The New School! Dice Ailes covers New Issue of Vibe.NG Magazine
On how he joined Chocolate City:
In 2013, I came back to Nigeria to promote a song called Yemisi, and while I was promoting, by chance I met M.I, who heard my music and was blown away. Before I went back to Canada, M.I said he wanted me to meet with Audu (Maikori) who also heard and loved the song and a couple of others as well. Contract talks started going on and eight months down the line, Chocolate City sent the contracts to Canada, which we signed and the rest, they say, is history.
On his favorite of all his songs:
I think Ella is my favourite song so far and that’s because of the effort I put into the production. Even for the video, we had to travel six hours and were freezing in the cold. I even broke my wrists snowboarding from the top of the hill down. There was a lot of work put into the song and I feel bad that it didn’t get the type of recognition that I thought it was going to get. People generally love it but they don’t understand it. So I urge everyone to pay attention to the lyrics, video, production and everything involved with the song.

On how he almost got kidnapped:
At about 4 am, we were on our way to the hotel from a club and then we noticed a car following us. Shortly after that, the car sped up, overtook us and blocked our front, while another car blocked our back and they all came out with guns. At this point, the security team given to us by the club that hosted us kept on driving without looking back, and that’s when I knew we were actually targeted and the kidnap attempt was planned by someone. But luckily, God was on our side and we escaped it.

Nelson Mandela’s 'hands' sell for $10m Bitcoin

Nelson?Mandela?s
According to a report by BBC Africa, Canadian crypto-currency exchange firm Arbitrade bought four casts from South African businessman Malcolm Duncan. The firm said it planned to launch a global “Golden Hands of Nelson Mandela” tour to educate young people about the anti-apartheid icon’s life.

This is the first time artefacts of late Mandela have been sold in bitcoin. Mandela died in 2013 at the age of 95. He had turned into a global brand, with businessmen and artists cashing in on his name.

Duncan, who now lives in Canada, bought the casts from mining group Harmony Gold in 2002 for about $31,000. Half of the money paid to Harmony Gold was meant to go to charity, but it remains unclear as to whether that happened.

Harmony said it had “supplied Duncan with the necessary paperwork verifying the provenance as requested by his attorneys,” but declined to comment on what happened to the donation, Bloomberg reports.Räägi sõbrale... #AFRICA ... spill TEA ABOUT THE TOPIC ABOVE.... Easy on Shade #jaiyeorie
