Abuja Court orders seizure of 46 houses and land linked to ex-NSITF boss

A high court in Abuja has granted the provisional confiscation of linked houses and land to the former Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Social Security Trust Fund (NSITF), Ms Ngozi Juliet Olejeme.



Olejeme was accused of using the funds she received as bribes from contractors through third parties between 2009 and 2015, to buy properties, including one that she allegedly acquired from N1.3billion in Abuja in 2012. The 46 properties listed in the documents filed by EFCC in court is said to be found in the states of Abuja, Bayelsa and Delta.

Ife Durosinmi Etti, has shared her story of how she survived the dreaded viral disease, COVID-19.



In a post she shared on her Instagram page, Ife recounted how she started feeling sick and went to the hospital on June 1. There he did a test and then he was diagnosed with a bacterial infection. Later she was admitted because the medications administered in her were not working. She said she was one of the doctors who later suggested that the COVID-19 test be done.



The result of the COVID-19 test was positive and, according to her, the subsequent experience was "Horrible". After receiving treatment, she tested negative on June 27.

The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency(PPPRA) announced this today.

It said a new price band of N140.80 to N143.80 per litre will apply for petrol.

The PPPRA, in a circular dated July 1, 2020 to marketers, said: “After a review of the prevailing market fundamentals in the month of June and considering marketers’ realistic operating costs, as much as practicable, we wish to advise a new PMS pump price band of N140.80-N143.80 per litre for the month of July 2020.
