Cossy Ojiakor ‘Covers Up’ For Once As She Buries Dad In Style

Nollywood buxom actress Cossy Ojiakor has buried her father, Chief Orjiakor (aka Ukwa achi n’aka) who died in January 2018.
See photos below. They were shared by Cossy Orjiakor’s colleague, actress Uche Elendu who attended the burial.
Cossy had received news of her father’s death on the 14th of January, and in a post on social media announcing her loss, Cossy revealed that until his death, her dad constantly worried about her following her recent surgery and kept asking if she was now able to sit down.

Cossy Orjiakor wrote:

“Dad… Its so surreal….but.. Its OK. God knows best.. Don’t even know how to start.. Got news about you this morning. Your phone been off. Can it be true Dad… I know you have been so stressed of late. How can you start building another house at this age. When I heard your good friend . my God father Mr Ezeukwu died. I tried calling you but your phone is switched off. Pls call me now dad. Am well now. You always called to ask me if I have started sitting down after the operation . yes dad am sitting down sweets. You wanted to spend Christmas’s in the playgirl mansion.. But… I traveled out… Am so sorry dad.. Pls call me.”

Nollywood Actresses Anita Joseph & Nkechi Blessing Mocks Actress, Iyabo Ojo For Undergoing Butt Enlargement

 Anita Joseph and Nkechi Blessing displayed their big butt and thanked Jesus for what they see as a free gift. Nkechi Blessing had taken to Instagram to share a picture in which she flaunted her huge butt. She wrote:

”Father Lord thank you for giving me this BumBum Free of Charg**Adura Nla* JUDASI still showing on YOuTube Via APATATV…Lets Hit 500k views Soon Fam so I can stop making noise#TBT”

Reacting to the post, Anita Joseph also thanked Jesus for giving her her butt for free when other people are using money to purchase theirs through body enhancement surgeries.
However, this posts from Anita Joseph and Nkechi Blessing appear like a shade targeted at single mum of two, actress Iyabo Ojo who recently escaped death after embarking on a buttocks enlargement surgery.

 She reportedly fell into a 5 day coma after having the buttocks enlargement surgery in Turkey.
Kemi Ashefon reports it thus:

“Of a petite frame, she almost lost her life in faraway Turkey, where she quickly went for the birthday party of one of her colleagues but later must have decided to have a ‘bum bum’ surgery.

“What we knew was that she and her colleague, who is also a very good friend of hers, had gone to Istanbul Turkey for a party organized by one of their male fans for them. That was in February 2018 and they had a nice time. She flooded her social media handles with photos of the Turkey shindig,” a source revealed.

“Just before she returned to Nigeria , she must have decided to have a cosmetic surgery in Istanbul. For a body enhancement surgery, you would assume it was harmless and less complicated. But after the surgery, this actress was said to have fallen into coma for five days!

It was gathered that her friend who escorted her to the country was hysteric. The popular actress, who has featured in many Yoruba films and now appears in some English movies was almost presumed death until she came to and recuperated.
Though back now to Nigeria, she has soft-pedalled on activities.”

On Pacific Rim preaching unity among countries despite its Sci-Fi nature:
That really is the big message with it. The best sci-fi is subtle social commentary.


On why the movie is so personal to him:
There was something quite intriguing about the epic effects, the world that Guillermo del Toro built up. But also the characters. I’ve always just been after interesting projects told from an interesting perspective. I don’t want to see the handsome guy saving the world. I want the leading man to be a man—someone raw, someone who is grounded.


On his character in the movie:
[Laughs] I designed Jake—from his haircut to his look. I always wanted to redefine what a leading man is. Jake is cocky. When you’re young and you get your first hint of facial hair, and you keep that one strand growing, even though it’s not growing properly.…


On what he learned from Carrie Fisher:
Be who you are, and let the world judge you how they will. Her freedom gave me strength to say, “I don’t care what you guys think. Because for you to have an opinion on me, I must have made it to a certain point.”


On naming his cat after the X-Men character “Logan”:
Yes. It was based on that. When I got Logan, he had a bone problem. His bones were very weak; even the way he was sitting in the basket looked a bit odd. I thought, “Okay, cool, he’s probably going to die soon anyway. I’d love to get the responsibility factor.” I’d started living by myself. I thought, “You know what, it’s getting lonely in here. I need another species at least. I’ll get a cat.” Then his bones had problems. But as he got older, he started to get stronger—and his bones healed themselves. He reminded me of Logan. [Editor’s note: The cat passed away after this interview. RIP, kitty.

Police confirm 17 killed, 7 suspects arrested in Offa robbery

 Premium Times reports that the Kwara police commissioner Lawan Ado said five residents were shot and killed on the street of Offa by the robbers.

He said: “Twelve people were killed at the police station, eight of them were police officers. The remaining four were suspects in police custody."

Ado said the police intelligence team has arrived from Abuja to help with the investigation into the incident.

He said: “We arrested one person yesterday and six persons today in connection with the robbery,” he said. “We will stop at nothing to ensure that all the suspects are arrested.”

He added that the police has reovered seven get away vehicles used by the robbers t escape town after the robbery.

It was reported that the president of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki, has declared that he would support Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state to ensure that all those who took part in the robbery attacks on banks in Offa on Thursday, April 5, are brought to justice.

COSON Edo Chapter threaten to drag Efe Omorogbe to Oba of Benin over LeadershipTussle

The Edo chapter of the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) has threatened to drag 2Baba's manager, Efe Omorogbe, to Benin's Oba for terrible conduct. According to The Nation, COSON members have revealed that the decision to drag Efe to the monarch is to call him to order and take appropriate sanctions. The Osula of Benin, chief Arala Osula at a press conference ordered Efe Omorogbe to stop running as president of COSON, Tony Okoroji being the only recognized president of COSON. At the same press conference, Chief Osula read a letter from Edo COSON members in Efe which reads in part: ...

It is unfortunate that given your position of visibility as the manager of Tuface Idibia, no one in the state has felt your impact in any way.
While you purport to come from Edo State, we do not know you because you always go around with your nose in the air.
We are shocked that despite our clear democratic choice of Okoroji as COSON chairman, you have mischievously and fraudulently continued to parade yourself as Chairman of COSON. Your behaviour is contrary to the norms and culture of the great people of Edo State.
