 Olamide has been criticized by Nigerians for ‘disrespecting’ Nurses in his music video.

In the video for the song, Woman, Olamide is alleged to have portrayed nurses as $exual objects.

The models in the video are seen wearing nurse uniforms dancing seductively and performing $ex acts on their male patients while on duty.

The musician has since deleted the video from all his social media pages after he came under sever backlash from nurses and general public.

The dancer was electrocuted while charging her phone at a video director’s home in Omole Estate, Lagos. She was confirmed dead after being taken to a nearby hospital.
She has featured alongside Olamide, Blaqbonez, Chinko Ekun, Dremo, social media sensation, Taaooma, popular dancers, Poco Lee, Femi Ginger, amongst others.

SA Rapper AKA, one of the country’s most vocal celebs about the effect of Covid-19 and the lockdown, has criticised the decision by sports, arts and culture minister Nathi Mthethwa to give creatives R2,200 a month for the next 3 months.
On Monday Mthethwa announced a second wave of relief funds for artists and employees in the arts industry, explaining that creatives can apply to potentially get R2,200 a month to mitigate the effects of the pandemic and the locdown.

Trump Issues Orders Banning TikTok And Wechat From Operating In The US In 45 Days

President Donald Trump on Thursday issued executive orders that would ban social media app TikTok and WeChat from operating in the United States in 45 days if they are not sold by their Chinese parent companies.

The orders, which use similar language, do not indicate that a certain amount of money from the sale must be sent to the US Treasury Department, which the president has insisted on for several days.

The order concerning TikTok prohibits after 45 days "any transaction by any person, or concerning any property, subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, with ByteDance Ltd.", the Chinese company which owns the social media platform.

The move increases the pressure on negotiations over the future of the popular video app through a potential sale. The dramatic back-and-forth began when Trump said last Friday night that he would ban TikTok from operating in the United States using emergency economic powers or an executive order.

Microsoft said on Sunday it was continuing negotiations to acquire the app following a conversation between CEO Satya Nadella and the president. On Monday, Trump set September 15 as the deadline for TikTok to find a U.S. buyer. Failure to do so, he said, would lead him to shut down the app in the country. In an unusual statement, Trump also said any deal should include a "substantial sum of money" intended for the US Treasury.
