#jaiyeorie Asue Ighodalo, brother of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House, has said the mother of late Ibidunni planned to give her a surprise gift on her 40th birthday.
At the Funeral Service aired live via the church’s social media platforms were a number of dignitaries including Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State and a representative of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
When called to say the Votes of Thanks, Asue explained in an emotion-laden tone how he and Pastor Ituah had gone to break the news of Ibidunni’s death to her mother and how they took time to comfort her.

The 39-year-old wife of popular Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Church passed away on Sunday, June 14 in Port Harcourt, Rivers state where she had gone to erect some Covid-19 Isolation centers.
Ibidunni was buried this afternoon at the Vaults and Gardens cemetery in Lagos state.

Abiodun suspends reopening of churches, mosques in Ogun

Due to the pandemic done by COVID-19, the school remained closed and a number of schools were teaching children online at a cost of subsidies.
Atlantic Hall School, Poka, in Epe, Lagos, through the Educational Trust Council, is reportedly introducing a monthly fee of N195 per student for online classes. However, some parents objected to the cost and questioned how the school arrives at that amount.

US sanctions six Nigerians for alleged $6 million internet fraud

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the U.S. treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin, and posted on the Treasury Department website on Tuesday.
“Today, in a coordinated action with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) took action against six Nigerian nationals for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States,” read the statement.

British insurance giant apologises for role played in slavery

British insurance giant Lloyd’s of London apologized for its role in the Atlantic slave trade amid an international uproar over systemic racism.
Lloyd’s said it was sorry for propping up the slave industry in the 18th and 19th centuries, which it called “an appalling and shameful period of English history, as well as our own.” The company was a dominant provider of insurance for enslaved people and the ships that transported them.
“At Lloyd’s, we understand that we cannot always be proud of our past,” the 334-year-old firm said in a statement. “In acknowledging our own history, we also remain committed to focusing on the actions we can take today to shape our future into one that we can truly be proud to stand by.”

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board has said that water supply to Kubwa, Gwagwalada and Airport Road areas in Abuja would be disrupted between Friday, June 19, 2020, and Sunday, June 21, 2020.
Mr. Segun Kayode, the FCT Water Board Head, Public Relations Unit, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
According to him, the disruption is to allow for maintenance work on the Usuma Dam – Kubwa Trunk Mainline.
He said: “Normal water supply would be restored to these districts on or before Sunday, June 21, 2020.”
