Just 2 months after TV game show, Who wants to be a Millionaire, went off air, it is expected to begin airing again across major TV stations on Sunday. Following a partnership with Airopay, which is a global international payments operator, the show’s producer, Ultima Studios Limited, said the show has been revamped.

The Managing Director of Ultima Studios, Femi Ayeni, said the show’s anchor, Frank Edoho, might be dropped.

“The presenter may not be returning as a host this time around but he remains a part of the team. We will also encourage him to partake in the auditions which will see us have a befitting replacement if need be.

“We will be getting a younger presenter but Frank remains a part of WWTBM. We will air highlights from captivating past editions of the show for about 5 weeks until we get a new anchor for the show,” said Mr. Ayeni.

I Went Back To School, Rediscovered Myself, Reasons I Have Been Missing- Presh

In an interview with Saturday Beat, Presh, former partner of Kcee, has explained why he has been missing in action. According to him he went back to school, he had to rediscover himself and he also went on top. He however promised he's back tho. Explaining his absence he said;

He said, “I have been away from the Nigerian music scene because I needed to step back and rediscover myself. There were other factors I also needed to consider and put into perspective. Back then, I did not have a sponsor. What I had could have helped my career but along the line, it would slow things down so I needed to do some shows and go on tours. I travelled to countries like Italy, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Malaysia and the United Kingdom for my tour. I also went to school to polish myself. I was tutored on voice grooming so that I can be good with a live band.

“When I finished the tours, there was enough money to do what I had in mind. I am also coming as a solo artiste and even though people know I sing, it is only in their subconscious. I needed to know how to go about being a solo artiste so that I would not keep doing what everybody was doing. Even though I would want to do some commercial songs, they have to be above standard. There are things that people expect from me.”

The ‘International Lady’ singer admitted that his hiatus affected his career but stated that it was for the best.

“I would say that the break has affected my career negatively and positively. However, staging a comeback at this time is perfect because if I had not gone on a break, I would have made a lot of mistakes which I would end up wasting time to fix. Now, I have come and it is time to conquer. I had to redefine myself and everything about me as Presh,” he said.

The Emir of Kano called on the government and traders to address the high cost of consumable items in the country.

Mr. Sanusi made the call in his Sallah message to the people of Kano delivered at his palace shortly after Eid durbar (Hawan Sallah).

The Emir, who lamented the current hardship being experienced by Nigerians, prayed that the bumper harvest being expected this year will bring succour to the masses.

“We are grateful to Almighty Allah for consistent rain. May it bring the end of high cost of food items,” the Emir said.

Vehicle Crashes In Ogun, Kills 3, Many Injured

2 people were killed as a vehicle crashed into a large crowd of Muslim worshippers at the Eid-El Kabir prayer ground in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State.

A witness said the driver lost control of the car and plowed into the crowd leaving scores of other worshippers injured.

An angry mob descended on the driver, who was rescued by policemen at the venue.

One of the policemen, Joseph Adejuwon, was ironically mobbed to death as he fought to save the driver. The driver was however arrested.

I remember we gave the artiste a Rolex as a signing-on fee. I signed the artiste and then I got a call later on and they said the parents of the artiste wanted to meet with me, so I went and they said ‘please I want my boy to go to school’. And to look at today that the boy I’m talking about is one of the biggest artistes out of this generation, which is Davido.

It’s been almost 10 years since the 2006 release of A.T.L. graced the big screen and over the years, it’s been speculated that part 2 was in the works now we actually have proof & confirmation!
T.I. starred as the main character Rashad, and the film featured other big names like Big Boi of OutKast, Evan Ross, Lauren London, Jason Weaver, Jackie Long and more.
Well T.I. finally confirmed that he’s working on ATL2 posting confirmation of the sequel via instagram.

T.I. even told Ricky Smiley that a sequel was a possibility but they wanted to make sure it was right.

“We’ve been tossing that around for quite some time,” he told 107.9’s Ricky Smiley.
“ATL was real and [relatable] to a lot of people’s lives. If we do it, it has to be correct. I don’t want to mess that up. If we find a way to do that, I’m in.”

L'Oreal's first transgender model, Munroe Bergdorf launched an extraordinary rant declaring all white people racist.

The 29-year-old British star, who appeared in the cosmetic giant's recent '#allworthit' campaign alongside Cheryl Cole and Katie Piper, now faces being dropped from her lucrative new role.

In a lengthy Facebook rant, she wrote: 'Honestly I don't have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people.

'Because most of ya'll don't even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour. Your entire existence is drenched in racism. From micro-aggressions to terrorism, you guys built the blueprint for this s***.

'Come see me when you realise that racism isn't learned, it's inherited and consciously or unconsciously passed down through privilege.

'Once white people begin to admit that their race is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth… then we can talk.

The stars of the advertising campaign were selected by L'Oreal as part of its ongoing drive to celebrate diversity and inclusivity in beauty.

Earlier this year the company, which also uses Helen Mirren as one of its regular models, claimed its focus on diversity had pushed sales and led people to reappraise the brand. It also recently launched a mentoring initiative in partnership with The Prince's Trust, which aims to help young people become more confident.

Last night a company insider said: 'L'Oreal do not in any way condone or agree with Munroe's comments. Obviously this is all highly embarrassing and very much goes against message.

'To drop her now would be something of a PR disaster but, at the same time, they cannot be seen to be endorsing any kind of racism or extremism. Conversations about her future are taking place.'

Miss Bergdorf, who was born a boy called Ian, works as a DJ and trans activist in addition to her modelling. She began living as a woman at the age of 18 but was prescribed hormones by a doctor only four years ago.

The London-raised campaigner recently spoke of how she hopes to play a part in the changing face of the beauty industry.

Edo Resident Doctors Begin Indefinite Strike.

The Association of Resident Doctors at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) says it will embark on a total indefinite strike from Monday, September 4.

This follows the breakdown of negotiations with the Federal Government over the demand that resident doctors be included in the Integrated Personnel Information System (IPIS).

The President ARD, UBTH, Dr Eustace Oseghale, made the announcement today in Benin, Edo State.
