The Ghanaian musician Ebony is dead. She is known as the "bad girl" of Ghana's music industry because of her provocative dressing style combined with her stage performances. Previous reports have indicated that RuffTown Records musicians died in a car accident in Sunyani on Thursday night. This was confirmed by the Ghana Police Service who spoke to the Accra-based radio station, Joy FM. How Ghana's Ebony is dead COP Ken Yeboah, commander of the Ashanti Regional Police, confirmed Ebony's death in an interview with the radio station. According to him, the singer had a fatal accident around 11 pm Thursday on her way to Sunyani. Other media reports that the artist died while he was at the government hospital in Becchem. The police commander said that three other people - two ladies and a soldier who were with the musician - also lost their lives. However, it is reported that the driver of Ebony's car, although in critical condition, is not dead. Social media responds to shock of Ebony's death Comments on his death and condolences began pouring in via social media, with many Ghanaians expressing surprise at Ebony's death. A singular thought that runs through the comments and condolences is incredulity in passing. Many social media users commented on the cruelty of synchronization when they considered that Ghanaian musicians had been at its peak, having only recently released hit songs like, Kupe, Poison and his debut album, BONIFIED.
