According to The Sun UK, the satin boots are currently available for pre-order at a staggering £465 – and apparently that’s all you need to look half as glam as the sought-after fashionista.

In a second ad for the same campaign, Gigi looks cool, calm and collected in a crisp white outfit completed by a pair of jewel-encrusted slide on trainers, worth £398.

The campaign for the fashion brand is a feather in the cap of an incredible year for Gigi – who was crowned International Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards at the beginning of December.

Taking to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall, Gigi said she was honoured to be in “the most amazing industry I could ever ask to be a part of” before calling the moment a “dream come true”.

In the press room, Gigi posed with designer Donatella Versace – who presented her award – before showing her silly side as she puckered up to her award and giggled away. The accolade came just days after stomping the runway in Paris for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show – where she starred alongside her sister, Bella.

The pair stopped for an interview ahead of the show – which was Bella’s first performance in the acclaimed annual event – and Gigi ended up crying with pride for her little sister.

They had also made history as they became the first sisters to walk the runway show together

 Christina Aguilera celebrated an early 36th birthday at a massive surprise party Saturday night and the 19-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kylie and her BFFs were among the guests.
Kylie dressed up like Christina did at her performance of “Dirrty” on her MTV’s TRL Presents: Christina Aguilera Stripped in NYC 2002 special, wearing a long, platinum blonde and black wig, a black and yellow striped string bikini and matching arm bands, plus chaps that read “XTINA.”


Christina, wore a multi-colored fur coat and a large pink, curly wig similar to one she wore on The Voice, and the reality star cuddled up for a kiss.

Noble Igwe Explains Why he joined in The MMM Scheme

    Noble Igwe who was affected by MMM scheme crash, has given an explanation of why he embraced the scheme. Read below:

Guys, I know a lot of people may have read my tweets this morning about MMM and some of you are already judging me, calling me all sorts of names but I’d like you to read the entire story before judging me.
Few months ago, I needed to change my clipper because I once shared it with my ex and after my wedding, I wanted to change everything with a reflection to my past but I didn’t know the particular brand to buy.

I called Yusuf of Kay’s place barbers in Lekki Phase 1 and he advised me to buy the all new PP Clipper. I wasn’t sure at first because I hadn’t used any Philips clipper in the past but the first day he cut my hair with it, I got a lot of compliments and for that, I bought the same clipper for my dad.
Fast forward to some weeks later, I was cutting my hair when Yusuf started talking about the gains of investing with MMM;
“Ah Oga! Mo ti gba owo to po lori kini yi oh, mo tie ti lo se fence si ile ti mo ni ni Oshogbo” (Ah Oga! I have cashed out big time from this, I have even fenced my land in Oshogbo).
It sounded too good and I wasn’t going to let anyone come from America, change dollars to Naira then buy all the bottles of champagne in the club with $1000 but then, I didn’t have “spare” cash apart from the money set aside for my Office rent to which he assured me that I can invest it, make profit and use my profit to buy a Range Rover.
The Sound of “Range Rover” caught the interest of my subconscious mind and for the rest of the day, I kept thinking of all the things I could do with the profit.
I was thinking of buying bottles of Brut champagne to use as Water for Rose at the club, a table at SIP from 24th December, 2016 to 2nd of January, 2017, driving my range from Lagos to Umuomaku with a mobile police man in the front seat to tension people in my age grade, a pair of Gucci Prince town to wear with my Isi Agu to our annual progressive meeting.
It was looking like the perfect Christmas but I wasn’t going to invest in MMM without first of all taking the money to our vicar in church to pray over it.
My church does not support such but I was also thinking of donating a part of the money towards the new church building but I was going to tell the vicar that I wanted to use the money to pay for goods coming from China.
The D Day.
It started like every normal day and in the evening when I got home, I made up my mind that I was going to invest straight away.
I transferred the money without telling my wife and I was even extra rude to the Landlord at the office because I knew I was going to shut him up with money when my MMM pays. I called SIP to reserve a table all for specific days.
Then I drove to Akin Adeshola to choose the particular Range Rover I wanted them to reserve for me.
I went home and started doing the countdown to the day my MMM will pay until it happened.

The Edo state-born Nigerian who already has 6 Masters (MSc) degrees, is planning on continuing his 7th Masters degree in January 2017.

Immigration to Increase Price of International Passport... See Details @NigImmigServ @immigrationng

 

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has began reviewing charges the agency said. The agency said it is not longer possible to issue passports at the current charges.

This was revealed at the flagging off the ceremony for the capacity building programme on Information Communication Technology (ICT) for Immigration officers in Abuja by the NIS Comptroller-General, Mr. Muhammad Babandede.

However, he didn't reveal when the new charges will kick off, Babandede disclosed that they had written to the presidency for approval.

He said: “It is not easy for us to pay for booklets because of the cost. You will agree with me that air tickets have doubled in this country. You are aware that a lot of things have changed, but the passport fees have not changed.”

For Donald TrumpPresident-elect’s inauguration next month would Evancho and Bocelli perform.

The 16-year-old finished in second place on America’s Got Talent back in 2010 at the age of ten, and has released six albums since that time.

Nigerian Senate Rejects the Appointment of Ibrahim Magu as EFCC Chairman

                                                                              

The Senate’s spokesperson, Aliyu Abdullahi, revealed that the Nigerian Senate rejected the nomination of Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) by President Muhammadu Buhari, citing security report.


   “The Senate wish to inform the public that based on available security report, the Senate cannot proceed with confirmation of Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

“The nomination of Ibrahim Magu is hereby rejected and has been returned to the President for further action,” Abdullahi said.

Donald Trump omits Twitter from Tech meeting because.

Twitter was omitted from President-elect Donald Trump’s Wednesday meeting with tech executives as retribution for refusing to allow an emoji version of the hashtag #CrookedHillary during the campaign, Politico reported based on a source close to the situation.


While Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Tesla were all represented . Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey reportedly intervened to stop the Trump team from deploying their planned anti-Clinton emoji (which depicted small bags of money being stolen).

Lauren Jauregui arrested for weed possession #FreeLauren

 
Lauren Jauregui of Fifth Harmony singer was stopped by TSA at Washington Dulles International Airport after a staffer found what appeared to be a bag of marijuana in her carry-on luggage, TMZ reports.

 E! News confirmed Wednesday morning that the Brazil-bound “Work From Home” singer was charged with possession of marijuana. The 20-year-old singer was later released on a summons.

“Lauren Jauregui was not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance,” Dina LaPolt, attorney for the girl band and Jauregui tells E! Who said love don't cost a thing... Well Mary J. Blige’s divorce from Martin ‘Kendu’ Isaacs just got messier.
According to Mary, Kendu is refusing to turnover several of her possessions — including a Grammy.
According to TMZ:


Mary filed new docs, calling out Martin Isaacs for refusing to return a Grammy, other “achievement awards” (she’s not specific) and a few luxury whips leased under her company’s name.
According to the docs, Martin has 3 cars, including a Range Rover he was supposed to return in February. There are also 2 Mercedes: a C300 and an SL550. Mary wants the C class back, but says he can keep the SL … which sounds like a good deal for him.
And there’s this final blow — Mary claims Martin, who was also her manager, fleeced her out of $420k in supposed business expenses that had squat to do with her biz.

CBN Issues Fresh Directive on MMM Amidst Nation Palava

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has  cautioned Nigerians against investing in the ponzi scheme, Mavrodi Mundial Moneybox (MMM).



CBN Director of Development Finance Dr. Mudashiru Olaitan gave the warning at a business leaders’ conference with the theme: “Prospering in a recession”, organised by EZ37 Solutions in Ibadan, Oyo State.

 According to him, the nation is blessed with many resources and businesses that could bring returns at minimal risks, urging people to embrace agriculture instead. Olaitan, who was represented by the Head of CBN Development Office in Ibadan, Mr. Banji Akinola, said the Ponzi scheme has become a national embarrassment with the scheme’s operators insulting the Nigerian government just because it cautioned the people over the scheme.

A University don from the Department of Economics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Prof. Funmi Soetan, who spoke on the theme of the conference, advised companies to consider cutting the cost of production through waste elimination rather than laying-off workers.

According to her, Nigerian economy is passing through a difficult phase of the business cycle. Factors responsible, she said, include Nigeria’s overdependence on oil revenue, the adverse impact of the increase in global crude oil supply, fall in global oil prices, slow and declining growth in China, the BRICs and Europe, rising global and local terrorism and its attendant insecurity in Nigeria.

Nigerian Ports Authority Recovers $5.1m 'Hidden' in Heritage Bank

The management of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has recovered $5.1million out of the sum of $24.1million it reportedly discovered “hidden” in Heritage Bank , ShipsandPorts reports.


The NPA Managing Director, Hajia Hadiza Bala Usman who confirmed the return of $5.1million by Heritage Bank into NPA’s Treasury Single Account with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). She said efforts were ongoing to retrieve the balance from the bank.

 Hajia Hadiza Bala Usman revealed that private companies and government agencies owe NPA about N10billion and $585million (N180billion). She however admitted that part of the amount could be classified as bad debt as it had been outstanding for more than 10 years.

She said, “We cannot have contractors collecting our money and not do what is required. We have directed our procurement department to put in place structured framework which will be signed where contractors will be blacklisted from future contracts in the Nigerian Ports Authority and we have also discussed this with the Bureau of Public Procurement to convey our concerns with the fact that we are having contractors that are not performing on their contracts.”

Usman said NPA is facilitating the setting up of a National Single Window to facilitate cargo clearance at the port.
