IKEBE SUPER ...BOOTY
Found this interesting piece on Associated Press and decided to share cos I am guilty as well, lol... Decades after Nigeria’s Wale Adenuga made ‘Ikebe Super’, a household magazine in the country, made a movie and television shows after his celebration of the bountiful female derriere—and made himself a multi-millionaire in the process — businesses in the United States are minting money from renewed interest in big bottoms, the Associated Press said today in a story by Business Writer Joseph Pisani. “The U.S. booty business is getting a big bump,” the story says, citing gym classes that promise a plump posterior, surgery to pump fat into the buttocks, and companies growing rich by making padded panties. Read the full report below: Gym classes that promise a plump posterior are in high demand. A surgery that pumps fat into the buttocks is gaining popularity. And padded panties that give the appearance of a rounder rump are selling out. The U.S. booty business is getting a big bump.

“Resignation as the National Chairman”
2015 KASALA GO BURST Alhaji Adamu Mua’zu, said yesterday that former National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, resigned properly from his position in line with the constitution of the party. Speaking with Vanguard yesterday, Mua’zu said this was not the time in the political situation of the party and the country to argue over the issue of resignation when the party was presently preparing for the 2015 general elections. According to him, “our presidential candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan has just declared for his re-election next year, all hands should be on the deck as we should collectively work together as members of PDP, as one happy family to ensure victory for the president and all the PDP gubernatorial candidates that will be produced at the December 8 primary elections.” In a letter of resignation obtained by Vanguard, Bamanga Tukur had in a letter dated January 15, 2014 resigned as National Chairman of PDP. The letter which was entitled: “Resignation as the National Chairman” and addressed to the National Secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo, read in full: “Pursuit to Article 45(2) of the Constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), I hereby give notice of my resignation as the National Chairman with effect from Thursday, January 16, 2014. “My resignation is in the overall interest of the party. I remain available to offer my contributions accordingly to the party, whenever it is needed. “Thank you and please accept the assurances of my highest esteem always.” Meanwhile, the National convention of PDP has been fixed for December 10/11 where the party would first use the first day to ratify Mua’zu as National Chairman while the second day would be for the national convention proper for the ratification of President Goodluck Jonathan as the party’s candidate for the 2015 Presidential election. Nigerians taxes.....in their hands...choi The Presidency supports the action of the the Inspector General of Police Suleiman Abba for ordering heavily armed policemen to prevent Speaker Aminu Tambuwal and other lawmakers from gaining access to the House today. The Speaker stormed the Assembly complex with fellow lawmakers when he was stopped..Some lawmakers resorted to scaling the fence to gain entry..Reacting to the development, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe addressed journalists today and said.... “Assumption (on whether the police boss was acting on instruction from the President) should stop. The IGP is a very senior officer of the government and his duties are to enforce the law.He doesn’t need to get the villa to enforce the law. He is not a house boy. Though he works under the government but he is expected to defend the law. IGP has the duty to enforce the law. He acted in the discharge of his duty. The IGP didn’t invade the assembly. It is wrong to assume that.” ” The whole scenario at the National Assembly today as we witnessed is rather unfortunate. We wish that at all times; national interest should supersede all other interests including personal and political interests. “From Government perspective, the overriding concern today is the issue of insurgency which necessitated the request by Mr President that the National Assembly considers an extension of the State of Emergency to give the Security forces the needed legal framework and space for a successful prosecution of the war against Boko Haram terrorists. “It is our hope that the Honorable members of the House of Representatives will use the period of adjournment to resolve all matters so that they can resume to deliberate and act on issues of National importance.”
