LeBron James just scored himself another major win with a new business move; a partnership with FSG to become part-owner of the Boston Red Sox.
The basketballer and his business partner, Maverick Carter, have obtained shares of Fenway Sports Group, which is the parent company of the Red Sox, making them the first black partners in FSG history.
This move makes the duo minority shareholders and minority owners in the Boston Red Sox as well as other FSG subsidiaries, including NESN, Roush Fenway Racing, and Fenway Sports Management.
The exact amount of shares owned by LeBron has not been disclosed.
