Jacob Zuma to face 16 Counts of Corruption, Money Laundering & Racketeering

Jacob Zuma to face 16 Counts of Corruption - BellaNaija
South African President, Jacob Zuma
Jacob Zuma will be facing 16 counts of corruption, money laundering, and racketeering, CNN reports.

The news was reported by National Prosecutor General Shaun Abrahams, who added that everyone is equal in law. He said: This comes a month after Zuma resigned from the presidency because he faces intense pressure from both the people and his party. Abrahas said he believed that a court would be best suited to such matters and that there were "reasonable prospects for successful persecution of Mr Zuma". He said:
I am of the view that a trial court would be the most appropriate forum for these matters to be ventilated.
Justice must not only be done, but must also be seen to be done.
Zuma has consistently denied any wrongdoing on his party, saying he is innocent.Räägi sõbrale... #AFRICA ... spill TEA ABOUT THE TOPIC ABOVE.... Easy on Shade #jaiyeorie
