Rihanna Fenty gave an inspiring speech about Black women at the 2019 Diamond Ball .


Rihanna was the last to arrive the red carpet at 9:22 p.m, donning a black velvet gown.

But before being whisked away from the red carpet, she had a message for fellow black women.
 
She said she comes from a line of black women and her daughter will also be a black woman, adding: “My mother is an incredible example of how to fight through obstacles in life. I'm sure her mom taught her that and that's how I'm going to be. We are impeccable, we’re special and the world is going to have to deal with that."
