“Popularity faded after BBNaija, no hit song” — Daniel Regha slams Laycon

Controversial Twitter troll Daniel Regha calls 2020 BBNaija champion Laycon a no-hit singer and implies that his career is waning.

Recall that the singer gained popularity after appearing on the reality show, following which he published his musical album.
 

However, three years have gone since the singer's victory on BBNaija, and his music career appears to be waning.

Laycon was criticized by Daniel Regha for losing his sense of what stardom and a successful music career were all about in a tweet on the microblogging website Twitter. He also attributed his decline to the album's release being before he achieved long-lasting renown.
 

“Laycon is a promising upcomer, but it’s not by “Awa fierce” or online hype, he should’ve built his presence as a musician before dropping an album. He has no hit single, his 2021 projects underperformed & his popularity has faded since after BBN. Best wishes though. No offense,” he wrote.
