Abba Bichi, a footballer and son of Mr. Yusuf Magaji Bichi, Director General of the Department of State Security Service (DSS), has chastised singer Teni for losing her cool while receiving her Member Order of the Niger (MON) honor at the National Honors Award on October 11th.

In an Instagram post, Abba Bichi called Teni a "Orobo with zero sense," accused her of disrespecting President Muhammadu Buhari by kneeling when accepting her award.

The DSS DG's son, who also accused the singer of arrogance, pointed out that World Trade Organization Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala lowered her head while receiving President Muhammadu Buhari's Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) award.

Abba wrote;

“Orobo with zero sense, even her excellency okonjo bowed down her head as a sign of respect to the president and commander in chief of the armed forces, likewise other high-ranking government officials. Who are you not to respect the president? This is disgusting and disturbing. Yoruba people are best known for their respect for elders but it got to your turn and you decided to be arrogant”
