Peter Obi visits British Ambassador to Nigeria

On Wednesday, Peter Obi, a contender for president, paid Catriona Laing, the British High Commissioner, a visit in her office.

Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, Obi's running buddy, and I visited Laing.

The meeting's topic was kept a secret by the former governor of Anambra, but he shared it on his verified Twitter account on Thursday morning along with images from the visit.
As he tweeted:

“Yesterday, with my dear brother and able running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed. We met with the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, HE @CatrionaLaing1, and her colleagues.”
Laing tweeted, “Good to meet the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi @PeterObi today and hear about his ideas on Nigeria’s economic, security, and development priorities ahead of #2023elections.”

Recall, Obi posted yesterday that he also paid a visit to the office of the High Commissioner of South Africa to Nigeria.
