#jaiyeorieTiwa Savage has been awarded an honorary doctorate by her alma mater, Kent University.

The degree was bestowed upon the diva in recognition of her remarkable performance and role as an influence in the music industry.

Dr Savage, as she was now known, had graduated from the University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and afterwards won a scholarship to study Professional Music at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
