Alaafin’s daughter bags Master’s degree from UNILAG, tops class

Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi’s daughter, Princess Adedoja, has bagged a Master’s degree from the University of Lagos. Alaafin and other members of his family on Thursday attended Adedoja’s convocation ceremony as she bagged a distinction (4.63/5.0) in African and Diaspora Studies.



 The former Miss Oyo State emerged as the best graduating student from the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies, setting a record for the institute. Information from UNILAG’s official site mentioned that she was the first student to bag a distinction from the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies since its establishment in 2017. The excited princess shared her Convocation pictures on her Instagram page with the words, ‘Masters Degree bagged. Masters of Art in African and Diaspora Studies, University of Lagos (with a distinction- Best Graduating Student, Institute of African and Diaspora Studies.)
