Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for “Truth Be Told” season 2 starring Octavia Spencer.
In season 2, investigative reporter turned true-crime podcaster Poppy Parnell dives into a new case that deeply involves her childhood friend, media mogul Micah Keith. As developments unfold, their lifelong friendship is put to the ultimate test.
The new season is the addition of Oscar nominee Kate Hudson in her first lead role in a television series.“Truth Be Told” season 2 is slated to premiere on August 20 and will welcome new series regulars Christopher Backus, Alona Tal, David Lyons, Andre Royo, Merle Dandridge and Mychala Faith Lee.
OG cast members Mekhi Phifer, Michael Beach, Ron Cephas Jones, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood, Tami Roman, and Katherine LaNasa, will also return for the second season.
