Megan Thee Stallion has addressed the shocking case of homophobia in the hip hop industry.

DaBaby got dragged after he went on a homophobic rant at the Rolling Loud Miami, which caught him a lot of flak and caused him to lose deals and appearances.

Megan Thee Stallion weighed in on the issue during a recent interview

with People magazine, saying the genre’s reckoning with homophobia was long overdue.

“It is about time,” she said. “Representation is important, and it is really crucial for us all to have compassion and acceptance of every human.”

She also spoke about performing at the Lollapalooza music festival, adding that it was exciting to be back on stage as she works on her next album.

“The crowd was incredible and had such great energy,” Megan said.  “I love being back on stage and seeing my hotties in the audience having the best time.”
