Lala Anthony has filed for divorce from her basketball player husband, Carmelo Anthony.
The CHI actress and mother of one filed documents to end her 11-year marriage to the NBA star following three years of separation.
TMZ reports that Lala filed for the papers on Thursday in New York, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to inside sources, the split is amicable and the parents to 14-year-old Kiyan are trying to make the transition as smooth as possible for their teenage son.
Recall that In 2017, it was reported that Lala had moved out of their NYC home and into her own place after it was rumoured that Carmelo had welcomed a baby girl with another woman.
Lala and Carmelo were together for 14 years and married for 11 years before news broke of their separation.
