Lagos State Government Sets Aside N1 Billion for Entertainment and Tourism, Appoints RMD, Others as Trustees

In a bid to jumpstart the entertainment and tourism sectors in Lagos, the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has established a board of trustees presided over by veteran actor, RMD.

Kunle Afolayan who is a member of the 9-member-board alongside Mo Abudu, Tunde Kelani, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe and four government officials, took to Instagram to share this.

Afolayan disclosed that the government set aside N1 billion naira to cater to supporting creative ideas  for movie and entertainment producers especially those in need of funding for their projects.
