Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said he is “happy” to see Alexandre Lacazette linked with a summer exit.

Lacazette is into the final year of his deal at the Emirates and numerous clubs across Europe are reportedly monitoring him.

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are among the 32-year-old’s suitors, while Roma is also believed to be a potential destination.

Arteta claims interest in his players can only be a good thing, as it must mean they are fit and firing on all cylinders.

“I’m always happy when people talk about our players and speculate,” said the Gunners boss. “That means they are doing well and getting attention from other clubs.

“The situation with Laca we will address in the summer, speak to him, propose the future we want and that’s it.

“Now I just want players focused and only focused on performing and getting the best out of them for the team.”
