Saweetie had confirmed fan suspicions that she and Migos member Quavo are over.
“I’m single,” she stated in a message to fans via Twitter on Friday. “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
This came as a shock, especially since only one month ago, the couple shared a post on Valentine’s Day, saying how much they love each other.
“I emotionally checked out a long time ago,” she continued in a second tweet, “and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.”
