At 49, Jennifer Lopez is one of the hottest women in the game.At 42, Alex Rodriquez is one of the hottest MLB players.  J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez are collectively the reigning queen and king of health and wellness. They often use their social media platform to share diet and fitness tips and tricks. Recently J.Lo and A.Rod presented fans with a 10-day diet challenge.

It goes as this ,for 10 days you don’t eat any form of carbs or sugar. The couple announced their challenge via an Instagram video of them working out together in a gym.

“Join me and Jennifer for a 10-day challenge. No carbs, no sugar. Who’s in?” Rodriguez announced in the caption of the video.

What is the goal? According to J.Lo, it’s all about resetting the body and getting it to fuel itself on healthier carbs and other healthy foods that have sugar in them.

“Now when I go back to eating fruit in 10 days, it’s going to taste like an ice cream sundae,” she said.

Lopez claimed that one of the perks of this diet is that you also lose some weight. As your body gets rid of all that sugar, the extra kgs start melting off, she stated.

Lopez said on Ellen:

“It was really hard. Not only do you get a headache, but you feel like you’re in an alternate reality or universe. Like, you don’t feel like yourself. You realize that you’re addicted to sugar.”She explained that as they neared the end of the diet, it got a little easier and after they were done, she didn’t have as much craving for sugar as she normally did.

While speaking on the ‘Today Show’, Lopez explained that anything with sugar or carbs is notallowed, meaning no fruit or starchy veggies.
