This is the decisive moment when a little girl was thrown from a roof by her father during a clash with the police - and then rescued by heroic cops who caught her. In a desperate attempt to prevent his house from being demolished, the 38-year-old father climbed onto the roof of the cabin in the Joe Slovo West area of Kwadwesi, South Africa. He swung the baby by the leg, sending it to the crowd of cops downstairs. A few minutes after the police tried to make him fall, the father threw his daughter a year. Incredibly, the tot was caught by a member of Metro Police and was returned to his mother, supervised by the social services. The South African Police Service (SAPS) says that the man will be charged with attempted murder of his daughter and that the case will be investigated by the Motherwell Family Violence Unit, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses. Thursday's incident occurred during a demolition by the municipality of Nelson Mandela, according to an eNCA report. Members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the PE Metro Police have been deployed to ensure the safety of the demolition team.
