Premier League club Newcastle United was set up for sale by Mike Ashley's owner.
The Magpies have been relegated twice by the English top flight during Ashley's 10 years of rule.
After winning the promotion last season, Rafael Benitez is on the ninth place in the Premier League after eight games.
