     Funmi Iyanda took to social media to speak on the effect of Biafra war.

 

 

“Yesterday marked the start of the Biafra war 50 years ago in 1967.
3 years later Nigeria began the deluded process of turning her back on the examination of the fault lines that led to the war. Those lines have deepened and morphed into craters blighting our nation with pockets of violence in every region.
You cannot ignore trauma. You cannot out-run collapsing floors.

Let us find the strength to turn round and face the monsters creating the fault lines underneath our national feet.

Let us stop digging holes to hide in and build pyramids to rise on.

Wisdom, Peace and Prosperity is possible.
