Bond girl Naomie Harris is on the cover of ESSENCE magazine’s December 2015 issue and she’s simply stunning!
Inside, the 39-year-old Brit chats about her journey to Hollywood from being poverty stricken and living on welfare in North London’s Finsbury Park with her teenage mother. As a child, she enrolled in the Anna Schere Theater School and began booking TV roles by the tender age of nine.
"I always knew I was going to be an actress," says Naomie. But, it wasn’t always peaches and cream. She quickly learnt what life is like as a struggling actress after going without booking a gig for nine months after graduating. She didn’t quit and eventually landed her breakout role in Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later.
The newest Bond girl was presented with the unveiling of her ESSENCE magazine December 2015 cover during the Black Women of Bond Tribute event held at the California African American Museum.
