When God has hands in something, when you give your life to your God, whatever comes out of your life, you believe in him, things will be easy for you, then I take life as it comes. Today, if I happen to see Yam and Egg, I will eat it and if Garri and Sugar comes tomorrow, I take it with love. Contentment has sustained my marriage”.
Olamidewa“(Before becoming first lady) I was a full time house wife. If you marry your own husband, and you are contented with whatever your husband gives you, it is enough for you.
I can say I am lucky, but I have never done any job whatsoever before. Taking care of one’s children, husband, and homefront is a job on its own. So, for me, housewife doesn’t interprets joblessness, some housewives are doing so much rigours than working class women, and mine involves taking care of the family and community. So, it is not an easy task”, she said.
