The Federal High Court sitting in Sokoto has dismissed a suit filed by former Zamfara State

#jaiyeorie Governor Bello Matawalle over the ownership of approximately 50 vehicles claimed to belong to the Zamfara State government. The court rejected Matawalle's claims of ownership, stating that the vehicles remain the property of the Zamfara State Government. The court decision comes after the Zamfara State Police Command had seized the vehicles from Matawalle's residences in June, following the expiration of the five-day ultimatum given to him to return official vehicles taken while leaving office.
